The hope is that B Diddy can get healthy cuz if he's healthy that changes everything with this team. Also can't forget Shump! To a lesser extent not having Jared hurts too. So there's a lot of room for improvement on this team.

do you watch other NBA games? no one in the entire league takes a 20pt lead and holds it. every team makes a run. seriously. not trying to be a smart ass, but look at the rest of the league - taking a big lead and letting the other team back into it happens every night somewhere in the league.
I get your point and I shake my head when the good teams do it, it's about knowing how to take their hearts. I played and coached. The Kings are a young, talented team but they weren't playing well until we let them make a run by playing passively. The Knicks were not being aggressive, they were coasting and if it wasn't for Carmelo, this would probably be under a 10 point game.

He gets his hands on a lot of balls. Jorts ability to actually PLAY the game using sound BB principles is yet another good pickup by Walsh. MDA said they liked him in his workouts and had him rated highly. Now you can see why MDA was high on Jorts ability to contribute this year.
jorts is great. hope amar'e is taking notes.
I think amare gets a lot of crap. people seem to forget amare helped the knicks be compettive last season and he played center. Now when amare gets back he need to drive to the basketball and lay off the jumpers for a while
amar'e was paid $20M to do that last season. unfortunately, he's also being paid $20M for what he's doing this season. i like amar'e a lot. i'm worried he's injured, hasn't recovered from the back - just the way he moves and avoids contact. and it's also pretty hard to deny that he and melo don't look comfortable on the court together so far.
I dont make excuses for amare at all. i think he is playing hurt or soft or both. he needs to toughen up

great play by douglas there on the break. in the interest of being fair.
TYSON! was just wondering if he was awake.

I'm just glad he has more points than fouls lol
If I'm Amar'e watching Melo throwing alley oops to Tyson, I'm pulling him aside next practice and saying "Hey, let's work on our two man game."
nice lob by toney to tyson on the pick and roll leads to free throws for tyson. toney playing well tonight.

really hope they can work this out. they could be one of the most devastating two-man combos in the league.

was just gonna compliment the knicks D, but melo failing to close out on donte green twice in a row. sigh.
tyson draws another foul. he's pretty good at getting to the line.
I can't stand the lack of effort by the coach! Nothing to prevent the momentum by the opposing team
Sorry Holfresh, but Toney is looking f#### dreadful right now.

even though I like Amare he really needs to get his straight. I don't think he is bothered by his back he just looks looks disinterested which is the opposite of last year. I mean its frustrating because if we can get everybody going and healthy i dont see many people beating us

That was Fields failing to close out on the first one and Melo on the second.
JORTS has 14pts and 11rebs.
or as this guy on twitter sez:

If Jorts keeps playing like this, Kim Kardashian's manager will be in touch.

the problem is that he doesnt discipline his players. I mean the only guy he did that too was nate robinson.
