STAT more than anybody else on the team, has the ability to lift the team up with certain plays (dunks or blocks).

I think many were aware it might not work, I think its still early though. It took Bosh, Wade, and Lebron a while to figure it out. Melo has not been here THAT long, Amare has had some injury issues, and Chandler is new to the fold.
I know it sucks to have to be patient, but I think we all know this team should be performing better than it is and with a little time hopefully things will turn around.

the effort was truly putrid last game from stoudemire. at least melo looks like he tries sometimes. stat looks like he's just thinking about his next time on offense all of the time, and that is frustrating (especially when fat boris is lighting him up).
lets see what STAT can give us tonight. MDA has to get him more involved on offense too. the fact that he's been relegated to essentially shawne williams role last year while chandler gets all of the picks is outrageous.
Uninterested defense is even more contagious than hard nosed defense.
I would HATE playing with a guy who demanded the ball on offense, but didn't give a shyt about giving effort on D. He is literally just standing around at times, just looking. I mean, spectators are spectators, not phuckin defenders. Multiply that by 2 and you have one inconsistent defensive team.
And something that bugged me too was at the Laker game, Stat and Melo were all smiles the whole game, palling around with Kobe and smiling, being behind 12-15 all phuckin game.
