Notes
Jared Jeffries is close to returning from a hip injury.
This will be Philadelphia's third game in three nights.
76ers leading scorer is Lou Williams...who comes off the bench.
76ers are a good team.
Knicks must win.

Scrub of the Night: Andres Nocioni (new feature that determines which scrub will go off the Knicks)

*Lineups are subject to change...or not

Damnit, C2D, the hookers?
ChuckBuck @ 1/10/2012 8:43 AM
Knicks going to have to bring it on both sides of the ball. Sixers are a well oiled machine right now who have the top defense, 2nd in rebounds, and 5th in offense.

Philly always plays us tough and they are playing well right now. They are where we aspire to be, they are playing "together" as a team and the Knicks are just starting to get to that area. Tough game to call. Knicks will have to play almost mistake-free ball and hope that Philly is a little off as it will be their 3rd game in as many nights.
FoeDiddy @ 1/10/2012 11:05 AM
Hopefully we give them a reality check. They have beaten up on some pretty bad teams during their streak. Melo and Amare have to bring their A game. Can't miss all those easy shots like they did against Bobcats.
MarburyAnd1Crossover @ 1/10/2012 11:07 AM
I of course want the Knicks to win but my money is on the Sixers, but we'll see what the spread looks like.

Guess I won't be watching his game, just like I haven't most of the games this season thus far.

Game thread title will need to be updated - Philly plays another game tonight before facing the Knicks.

Sixers will be in the third night of a back to back to back set, so the Knicks should have fresher legs. Let us pray.

Good call, didn't realize this. That's a little crazy.

ChuckBuck @ 1/10/2012 9:25 PM
Going to be a tough game Wednesday, Sixers are really balanced and play great defense.
Childs2Dudley @ 1/10/2012 9:37 PM
Someone update the topic title to (7-2) for the Sixers.
nyshakespeare @ 1/10/2012 10:11 PM
76ers with 5 20-point wins in 9 games already this season. ELIAS: Last team to do that was 1969-70 NBA champion Knicks.

Well coached too....must see game. The Knicks are playing well now so its big test for us

One thing about this Knicks team with STAT and Melo here is that they usually show up when they play good teams. I'm expecting them to bring their A game and intensity since i'm sure they know the Sixers are 7-2 and on top of the Atlantic.
SupremeCommander @ 1/11/2012 12:46 AM
That crazy asshole John Hollinger has the 76ers and the Pacers *ahead* of the Knicks in the standings! What reality is he living in???
