YES! STAT With the timely rebound.

Young fouled out? NICE.

Now hit these free throws, Melo, and ice this thing.

Knicks did job on D. No easy drive to basket, get the rebound! They made mistakes but D was great!
izybx @ 1/11/2012 10:00 PM
game over

Who's going to hit the impossible, fading-out-of-bounds three-pointer? Any wagers? Doug Collins maybe?
Childs2Dudley @ 1/11/2012 10:01 PM
This is the first time ever I'll call a win putrid.

Putrid win.

But it's still a win.

i just dont want him playing pg. on a team that is built to win now the PG position shouldn't be as big of an issue as it is. shump is a SG.

Agreed can't wait til I see Davis at the point in crunch time.

Proud of this team. Sixers made a run 3 times this game and they held on. That shows a lot. And also winning with Defense. Sixers are gonna be tough this year.

I think both teams were tired here. Knicks not used to playing this hard on both ends. Add to that in a game like this it was hard to get your starters rest.

HARDCOREKNICKSFAN @ 1/11/2012 10:02 PM
YES. Melo's 2 for 2 at he line. This one's over. Great job, Knicks.

They still have some gelling to do, but this was a sweet win against Hollinger's #1 Power Ranked team.

That fool needs to take the Knicks out of the bottom 15 of that list.

nixluva @ 1/11/2012 10:03 PM
Man fans want perfection but look how hard Philly had to work for 79pts! When are we gonna acknowledge this team is much improved on D even tho the O still needs work?
Travla @ 1/11/2012 10:03 PM
Unimpressive win but I'll take it!!
CashMoney @ 1/11/2012 10:03 PM
That's 4 in a row, bring on the Grizzlies!!!
Childs2Dudley @ 1/11/2012 10:04 PM
I like the Knicks camaraderie after the game. Haven't seen it in years.

What did it end up being, the last 5:50 of the game without a FG by either team?

UGLY, but a win over a good team and division rival. I'm content.

FoeDiddy @ 1/11/2012 10:06 PM
Sixers are #1 defensive team in league holding teams to 85 pts per game. What Knicks scored? Knicks held Philly to under 80 pts when they average over 100. Great work.

We also out rebounded the #2 rebounding team in the league.

We are winning because of our Defense. And that's playoff basketball. Lets go Knicks!!
