and wtf is wrong with a happy winning gang family? didn't the "thuggets" get to the WCF?

Go crazy or go home.
You are getting desperate.

Then again, a talented and fearless knucklehead could be exactly what turns a dysfunctional offense into one big happy family.
Expect the unexpected.
Do you mean one heappy gang family?
JR runs to his own beat. Big deal. Unless you have evidence to the contrary, the gang reference is inappropriate and narrow minded.

Nothing wrong. I like hockey a lot.
We won't do sh*t in the playoffs when we only have two scorers on the roster. that offense is way too predictable.
I could totally see us as the darkhorse lowerseeded East team that no upper seed wants to face once we pick up JR in March.

You don't think the Knicks are desperate for backcourt help?
Think again.

I know you're not expect to know these things but the first clip of him in the topic is him throwing up gang signs.

This is beyond desperate, though. This is just stupid.

a perimeter player who is an elite shooter that can put the ball on the floor and dish? who can create his own offense? for our backcourt-less team? PASS.

If there WERE gang signs, the only thing that matters is if the shot went in.

Knicks are beyond desperate for shooting and backcourt defending.

Which shot?
We don't have to wait til March for Smith now do we? I think it depends on his chinese club. Is he on Kmart's team?
do I have to find the video of Baron Davis making gang signs? will that make you less inclined to have him on our team despite us NEEDING him?

was just about to say the same exact thing. any other year, i wouldn't want smith, but yes, knicks are desperate and smith does fill a few roles that we desperatey need (scoring, 3pt shooting). is jr a knucklehead? yes. does he shoot too much? i'm sure ill be yelling at the tv some nights. but overall smith will be a great addition to a team with solid leadership in melo, amear, and chandler. and oh yeah, like martin also said, he'll undoubtedly be on a short contract.
Let me go on record in agreeing that JR SMITH could be a good short term signing
who fills a (yes) DESPERATE need for us.
Does this mean that we need to start another fan club, misterearl?
Please stop.
Baron Davis is not the headcase Smith is. Nuggets fans were celebrating his departure.
Also, this Baron Davis is the savior thing needs to be dropped. People are going to be disappointed when they see he isn't going to make as much as an impact as they hoped for. He's still a decent player but at this point in his career you are expecting a lot if you think he'll be the main reason for a team turnaround.
OMG...we're a bunch of GANGSTAS!

Carmelo was the leader in Denver and Smith was acting like a fool.
Amare's leadership is still in question.
Chandler is the only guy on the team that commands respect since he has a ring.

Bullshyt. Not all of them. Here's one:

wouldn't blame him [for wanting to leave]. J.R. has been really good... attitude wise, and he moves the ball. He does isos only when the team has nothing going offensively, and he creates offense for himself and his teammates. He's the best passer on the team. He does not sulk when he plays 15 minutes or 8 minutes. He has been a great team player and locker room guy for at least the past 1.5 years. Most of this "bad shot selection" perception is just that, perception. But if you follow the Nuggets closely, you'd know J.R. is the least of the team's problems now.
But as usual he's GK's easiest target. If J.R. had an intimidating character like KMart, I bet GK would be off his back... he's GK's easy scapegoat. As usual the coward always pick on the weak for blame.
