amar'e needs a PG more than any player i've ever seen.

please tell me how many times ive said this crzy.

we all keep saying it but baron just won't listen.

Free Jeremy Lin!

What do you know?? Some signs of life are showing. Maybe we won't have to pull the plug on our Knickerbockers after all??

agreed. agreed times a million.

this is why when people say baron doesn't make a difference it boogles my mind. if baron keeps toney out of the PG spot, the team is about 4 points better a night.

Agreed...still upset at the offensive sets though..don't know why we run the same plays game after game. Seems teams have scouted them and defend them pretty well. can we get something new??

they're getting open threes. they just never ever ever ever hit them. if they hit the threes, it'd open up the middle for amar'e.

that's why the team looked really good for a few games went bibby hit like 7/8 on 3s.

I'm talking about starting the offense with giving Amare the ball or Tyson the Ball on high post..well almost 3 point line..seems to always end in charge, TO or some sort of confusing play. Whats wrong with keep the Bigs close to rim and setting picks for each other or a simple post which would lead to double teams and open looks.

Nice to see Walker in this game providing the instant offense off the bench he did last season. Fields looks so much better in transition than in a halfcourt set.

i agree. they just have no one who can penetrate with the dribble. we've seen toney try. he can't. landry can't. bibby can't. walker can't. melo can sometimes. shumpert can sometimes. that's it.

again - the importance of baron.

stat attacking more tonight. it's led to some charges, but it's led to some good looks and some free throws.

i like toney since he tries harder that just about anyone on the team but he was forced into the pg position which im sure he wasn't expecting. Our two stars aren't doing much to help either
crzymdups @ 1/20/2012 8:27 PM
tina cervasio saying baron might be pretty close on the MSG telecast. hinting it could be the next road trip next week?!!?

i'll react the same way i did when i heard they were signing tyson:
PLEASE LORD LET THIS BE TRUE.

uh, what? it's melo and amar'e's fault that toney isn't a point guard?????. that is one of the craziest things i've ever heard.

you say no one blames melo and you refuse to blame toney for his horrible play? smh

Everyone always says that but How does he try harder than anyone else on the team? I don't see it. His Defense is pretty lazy if u ask me. Trying for steals all the time is lazy defense. Staying in front of your man is real effort Defense. doing both is superb D. Only people who do that play to play are probably Chandler and Shump and Jorts.

relax man i am the first to say toney is playing like shit. What i mean is that its not just toney is everybody playing like shit. I'm sorry i can't lie and kiss melo and amares ass even though they aren't producing as well. if you read my post carefully i only said i liked toney's effort not his play. Hope that helps
