BTW, Dude no longer wears the blue and orange so I could care less about Gallo or Moz. I remember when the Knicks traded Mark Jackson to the Clips. Loved Mark as a Knick but I wanted to jump through my tv and strangle dude when he torched us and started flying around the court like a helicopter....

But, its Gallo ! The Rooster! How can a knick fan not cheer? For him?
Seriously tho, when he missed that layup and then a few plays later laid and egg at the free throw line, after the announcers said he was 89% from the free throw, I was soo hoping for overtime. Too bad we forgot how much better we are when we play like we did in the first half and went to ISO' s to finish the game with

When you are losing, bad luck and mishaps find you. We were up 3 when Harrington lost the ball and it ended up in Millers hands where he hoists up a 28 footer; splash! Are you kidding me!! We were up two with 9 seconds to go when Chandler overzealously fouls Nene trying to tip the ball back out. Nene had been missing freethrows all night and he sinks both. Things like this always seem to happen when you are struggling.

kinda like Melo winning playoff games?
hahaha... just enjoying the drama. Im sure it will work itself out
Gallo is a 15 to 17pt, 5 reb streaky player- the amount of man love he gets from some Knick fans is way out of proportion to his abilities. I liked him when he was here, but his inconsistency used to annoy me too- he'd have these 30+ point games, then follow them up with 4 or 5 disappearing acts.

Gallo trusts his teammates so he lets them carry the team so they can build confidence. He can drop 30 whenever he wants.

17 to 18 points on 11 or 12 shots (1.50 Points Per Shot) is much better than 26 pts on 21 shots (1.21 PPS). Gallo could average far more points if he wanted to be a chucker like Melobury.

It doesn't hurt when you also have not 1 but 2 classic pg's to get you some open looks and on top of that, an inovative coach....
BTW
Gallo career FG% 43%
Anthony FG% 46%
How about we chill with the small sample sizes...

I didn't buy that excuse when he was here- yes he isn't selfish player, but some games he made no effort at all to assert himself, and it used to annoy me- he also lost confidence easily too. He wasn't the god-like perfect player people are making out.

If you were honnest, you'd remember that it was exaclty what he was doing with us before trade, scoring an honnest amount points on very few shots.
He's not a superstar but a crazily efficient ball player. Dening his qualities won't ever make the trade better.

FG% is not a useful stat. It ignores too many facets of the game. Gallo has been a much more efficient and effective scorer than Carmelo for several years now (regardless of who either player's PG was). True shooting percentage is the most useful stat but I posted points per shot because it's easier for most people to understand.

Who the heck is making him a godlike player?
WHO?
Guys, being bitter about that shitty trade is making you shoot in all directions hoping to score a kill.
Gallo will never be a superstar. Melo is a much better 1v1 scorer with no doubt.
Gallo is just a consumate euro style team player, and it's true he's sometimes not aggressive enough, maybe it will change, maybe not.
But that doesn't change anything to the fact that the trade was stupid and we got raped.
This team is poorly constructed as such and is now in cap hell.
How is it related in anyway to Gallo and his supposed godlike play?

If you just care about total points and don't care about how many shots a player takes, you're gonna love Melo. If you care about both, you realize Melo is nothing special.

Nobody seems to remember how sucky the Knicks were right before the trade. Stat was tiring out and everyone else was just throwing up bricks. And I'd like to see Gallinari's stats for the next game; I wouldn't be surprised if it's a classic 2/8 5reb 3assist type letdown game

And what would that change?
Would that make the trade better in your eyes?
Would that make Carmelo share the ball more instead of jacking shots?
What if Gallo scores 3 and Denver wins? Cause that game is about winning, not about stats.
Don't be bitter cause Denver raped us off and now the court.
We could've had it all, but we decided that we couldn't wait for the offseason, we blew all our ammos before the fight, at the worst possible time when we had no leverage.
Now, we're sitting ducks, dead in the water.
Present sucks, future is gloomy.
No cap space, few picks, too good to get a good draft position, too bad to do any run in the playoffs.

They were playing horrible - of course blamed here as "due to the trade talk" they could not focus
well we have gotten worse so you can't blame people for looking at the facts

Yeah, however "horrible" they were before the trade, they are simply more horrible now.
Gallo's team is winning more than Melo's team.
For all the variables, its not just Gallo vs. Melo, its the team winning or losing.
Melo is a better player, Nuggs are a better team.
