Nice to get on the road and away from the boo-ing MSG crowd.
crzymdups @ 1/24/2012 8:11 PM
Melo : 8rebs, 3asts, 0pts in the first half. only four shots. he's shooting less and it appears to be helping the team flow. now he needs to find a way to score within the team flow.

love the way he just passed to landry out of an iso - he didn't get an assist but fields got two FTs

Childs2Dudley @ 1/24/2012 8:12 PM
The Bobcats will not let us lose this game.

Their ineptitude is astounding.

Yeah, nothing much to smile about. I like how he is shuffling the roster a bit.

I like the way the Knicks are defending. They're playing more ball denial defense rather than just letting guys catch the ball easily like they have been doing. I prefer that more aggressive style of defense. You disrupt a teams flow that way.
CashMoney @ 1/24/2012 8:17 PM
Just got home and of course missed the 1st half. For those who are suffering the wrath of MSG on Time Warner

He's def hurting. Left wrist now his right hand. Last 3-4 games he's missed shots he normally makes in his sleep

Lol, if the Knicks keep winning he can show them all he wants.

Still needs to find his shot. Wrist injury appears to be bothering him more than we know. Been missing shots that he normally makes. We still need him to close against the stiffer comp.

Wouldn't mind Melo shutting it down for a week and giving Stat a chance to get into some kind of a groove while he heals.

No, they need to learn to play together. Games against bad teams are the best times to try out new hings and see how they can coexist the best. A few minutes of Bibby trying to find STAT got him into the flow of things. We SOOOO need a PG.

At the very least it would help show that Stat still can ball and up his trade value if that's what they plan to do. Either way I think its a plus plus.

Disagree. Did you watch the Memp/OKC games? Just his presence on the floor opens it up for others. Plus, we really cant afford an extended losing streak at this point.

Its not just Stat but Melo getting over his injuries, they seem to be piling on. Better now than later in the season.

But if he's hurt, rest is what he needs. And as a bi-product the knicks get a bit of a rest from him to regain their confidence. Then, he can come back and they can mesh up.
