Aside from being devout christians, I don't see the comparison since Tebow was a well known college player and drafted in the 1st round by Denver.
Lin's path has some similarities with our own Victor Cruz.

Chandler is going to have some foul problems dealing with their front court. I am not sure is confident enough to put Jerome Jordan in and probably go smaller lineup.
