I'll tell you something: Lin is young and heavily talented. He is also out of control at times. But his best quality is his confidence, his determination and his leadership. Often times, those qualities are used as empty words, but in Jeremy's case, they are as tangible as anything else.
The guy has such a strong will to win, works hard to get into that position and delivers that he carries everybody else with his play. He is the ultimate "leader by example".
Not to take anything away from Melo and Stoudemire, who are great players and important for our success, but I'm starting to believe, for truth, that our hopes on a magical season rest in Lin's shoulders. He can make this group of individual players an amazing team simply by playing his heart out like he is doing.
Lin leads this pack. It isn't hype.
This is Lin's team.

Shumpert's D is really a major weapon. Unbelievable for a rookie. Had like 3 steals in the last 3 minutes.
BTW, what is the rule on what's classified as an assist? Shumpert passed the ball to Lin, Lin took a second to fake a 3, then drove with 3 or 4 steps toward a layup. (Yes, that was an assist)

I did the exact same thing (well, in French), this guy makes the games so fun to watch.
His enthousiasm is contagious and the team plays with heart and energy.
I still can't believe we won the way we did.

Lin and Shumpert have unbelievable stats together. That's MDA's favorite tandem to closeout games. They've been ridiculous defensively in our wins. Before this game I read they were a collective +53 or something like that. They just work really well together.
