Knicks · "Linsanity" is over (page 1)

"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results." - Benjamin Franklin

Linsanity was a fun stretch in which we witnessed an underdog getting a chance and proving doubters wrong. But after 6 games, can we finally put an end to the novelty aspect of this and finally expect this as the norm?

A star has been born. We're moving beyond "Linsanity" into the next phase of the program, establishing a Linning Culture. Lin just radiates "WINNER".

Lin will be the first to tell you this is a true TEAM we have here. It may take a while to iron out the kinks while meshing our stars with our blue collar bench, but you can see they're ready to make it happen.

Jeremy, I love you, but you're coming out party is over. We now all know who you are.

VDesai @ 2/14/2012 10:04 PM
It's still LINSANITY!
babyKnicks @ 2/14/2012 10:06 PM
Go Lin!

Haha, what's there to say? In my own mind, Linsanity ended after Minnesota. Like I said, the coming out party is over. I'm now expecting to see these kind of performances instead of wondering if he can keep it up. Tonight was the cherry on top.

BigDaddyG @ 2/14/2012 10:22 PM
This may truly be the "Golden Age" of point guards. Even undrafted guys are coming and producing. Just makes me wonder why it took us so long to grab one.
FoeDiddy @ 2/14/2012 10:23 PM
I'm catching myself using LINgo in every day conversations. (LINgo..The act of adding LIN to every day works ie. LINsane, LINternet, LINsasional)
VDesai @ 2/14/2012 10:23 PM
Linsanity = the total frenzy Knicks fans and basketball fans and even just laypeople around the country have been worked into by this amazing player. This feeling of euphoria is LINSANITY.
colombian0725 @ 2/14/2012 10:25 PM
He can play.

What are the chances Lin does NOT start at point in next year's all star game?

i disagree - i'm still screaming WHAT and ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME too much for it not to be linsane.

Knicksfan @ 2/14/2012 10:38 PM
Lets put a spin to "Linsanity" so we can keep it, shall we?

So doing the same and expecting different results is insanity?

Fans keep watching as Lin repeats his solid play and some still expect, wether for fear of the dream ending or for incredulity in this being sustained, that the outcome will change. While Lin plays the same, people still expect and fear the results to change. So far they haven't. Thats insanity.

Or, should I say...

LINSANITY LIVES ON!!!!

misterearl @ 2/14/2012 10:41 PM
Long live Linsanity.

Go crazy.

MaTT4281 @ 2/14/2012 10:46 PM
I guess the people have spoken. It lives...

VDesai @ 2/14/2012 11:04 PM
Linsanity is not having the words to properly describe what's happening - just really bad puns.
