Just as an aside, my first basketball camp, Tripuka was there as one of the star counselors, and it should be noted:
- he's funnier in person than he is on twitter.
- he played one on one with Moses Malone and Mo used him like so much fresh meat in the cell block.
Hated him when he was Nets commentator but probably because of the jerry curl he sported on air
The Yankees play that scene in the 9th inning of games that they're losing and have for years. I hope Matsui never got offended by it.

Not knowing the film, Tripucka saying the words Pearl Harbor, made me think he brought it up because Jeremy Lin is Asian in a disrespectful manner. I misinterpreted it, as did many on twitter.

1) I THOUGHT he was making a racist joke. I did. That is the first thing me and my friends thought of when he said it on air. "WTF? What is he talking about?" And many did on twitter as well based on my news feed. That is why I brought it up.
2) I absolutely don't think all Asians are the same. I thought Tripucka was bringing up the Pearl Harbor thing as an "asian" thing, and thought HE was saying all Asians are the same.
3) This was all a misunderstanding. I don't know the age range on this board, but I don't know a lot of people my age (college) who have seen Animal House (even though it is a college movie). That's all.
How about next time you start a thread titled: "What did Tripuka mean when he said..." instead of "Kelly Tripucka is an idiot".

They get high in Animal House too. You should really check it out, one of the funniest films ever made.
