It's tough, baby. Good run so far but uncertainty lingers. Still, a better situation than 2 weeks ago. Lin is a game changer. The upside is much higher. Where before I saw a disasterous finish with a losing record, that bottoming out is no longer plausible.

I made this same thread last week. I think 5 to 6. Every other team is not going to fall apart just because knicks are beasting.
Other league PGs are beasting - rondo, cp3, drose, tony parker, rubio, nash, westbrook, ellis/curry, kyrie, deron, etc...
Bron is beyond beasting...
Not about point guard beating...about wins. Looking like 3rd is a lock...when melo upgrades our small forward position, the sky is the limit.

look... I was drinking with Marv and DJSu last night, and the notion came from the I hate all thinks KNicks converted Raptor fan. The thought was simple... with Lin (and eventually Davis as a backup) the KNicks have a high powered MDA offense. What the Knicks have that the Suns didnt have is some top flight defenders. With Shump, JJ, Chandler and even Melo's new found dedication to defense and rebounding we have the defense to really clap down and win a dogfight type game if we have too. Who did the Suns have? Raja Bell and Marion were pretty solid but I would easily put the KNicks defense way ahead of that group.

I'd like to see them stay at 8. I think with Rose not being 100% we should be able to handle them, heck with a healthy Rose I like our chances.

What you and DJ said about the defense plus the Suns never had a threat like Carmelo Anthony next to Amare
