teams don't even guard Shumpert when Lin does a pnr. they leave him wide open to pack the paint, so the ball inevitably ends up in Shumpert's hands, and he can't do anything with it

Dang. Knicks have a lot of room for improvements in these areas:
* cutting down turnovers - a lot of sloppy passes
* free throw shooting
* 3pt shooting

(but aren't these things obvious?)

That Belinelli shot was luck. No way he had that measured like that. Knicks are in the Penalty and just need to drive at this point.

Amare had great offensive game generally
But if he played a tad of defense tonight it would be the difference in this Hornets/Knicks outcome

Too many of Hornets F/PF or bigs coming around basket without any resistance from anyone other than
C - Tyson Chandler or Jared when he's in the game.

Granted Amare gets boards tonite
he does not play D and his D' is worse than Carmelo's
