It worries me too but Amare is tough. Did his time away really affect his legs that much or is he still recovering from the back injury? We are paying him too much just to get 10-10 out of him. I do think he will pick it up but what's going on? Health? Still finding his role?
My guess is in part that he isn't getting the touches he's used to and where he wants them. Not finding a rhythm.
Not to mention he has very little lift and not much by the way of a burst of speed. I think Stat can do it in spurts but not like he was when he first got here. Its a different squad and there are more options on offense now. They still need to find a consistent role for him.

WHAT? The whole idea is to take and make open shots. Also Lin did break down the defense a LOT and setup a ton of shost. 14 assists tells you that. I'm not sure what you're talking about.

Not great pg play? We are getting the best play in the league right now. I like amare but he is not a statue he should be able to move a little. watch last year he was able to burst into the paint and hhe could shoot as well. Lin did the smart thing he got it to the guys who were actually making their shots

Lin missed Amare a few times diving to the basket but give the Mavs credit. Marion's length, I'm sure, blinded Lin a few times or at least prevented him from making the pass in the lane. Its nothing that film study cant correct.

lin missed amare once or twice. he threw the ball too hard and that was lin's mistake but other than that amare just sucked

Look, Amare just ain't playing as well as he can. With Lin getting doubled you can't get players the ball in their comfort zone. That said, he still had 14 assists, another career high this week. Amare got the ball under the hoop and luckily wasn't blocked as usual. He just isn't on right now.
When Melo gets back I think Stat will get better spacing to do what he can.
This is going to get interesting, imagine this: Lin out there with Stat, Melo, JR and Chandler! Oh man...

We played a great game out there. A pleasure watching Lin. Start counting the days till his first 20 assist game. I bet he has a few.
My few complaints were Fields from the perimeter on offense and Stat (offense and defense, he rebounded ok). Stat had a heavy -18 out there and I think that stat was on tonight. If he can't turn things around on this team we have to try to move him. I wonder if the lakers would trade Gasol for him and ??? I would love to find a way to keep JR. He is a huge difference on this tea.
JR post game interview talked mostly about his and the teams DEFENSE !!!!

i guess I understand the predicament, but it wouldn't, shouldn't effect lift or ability to move, and that's the problem. If he is suffering to the detriment of himself/team, take more time and get it right.

Yeah. Anubis will never give Lin credit. Never mind that the first option on PnR was taken away which is hitting the roller. Dallas did the same thing NOLA did and made Lin shoot the ball or swing the ball.
I like what I saw with JR in this game. I did not like the signing but if JR can do this then we are going to be really dangerous.
