Has anyone actually said that the sole basis of their critism of Melo was last night's game? Where do you guys get these thread ideas from?

How about the fact that Melo had been playing without a PG all year and being forced into the wrong role. Don't get me wrong a lot of it is Melo's fault at times but for the most part he has been getting his teammates involved earl in the game. The problem is he had no trust in guys like TD & Fields late in games

Well we don't disagree much then actually. I think an additional problem is for the season as a whole and his career as a whole he takes way too many low percentage contested jump-shots.

Your OP though definitely implies that criticism is based just on the last game though even if that's not what you actually meant.
Deron went bandannas! It happens.

It is based on the last game. As far as I'm concerned this is a fresh start for the team. Our players now have more defined roles. Every player has flaws but part of being a team is having the right guys around them who fill the holes. The team as it is presently constituted now is much more suited for Melo. In order for it to work melo will have no choice but to adapt and become part of the whole. If it means his scoring goes from 25 to 15 so be it. Other star players have made sacrifies throughout history. If Melo wants to win and not deal with answering the fans and media everyday he will. adapt he has no choice

lol..thats funny..Well rose miss roughly the same amount of time and didn't miss a beat..melo played well the 1st 2 weeks of the season, since then he's been just as bad as Amare..maybe worse
Rose doesn't the the media questioning whether or not be fits..Rose doesnt have the media saying he is selfish for shooting too much..Rose doesnt have his own announcers saying Lin defers to him too much when Lin took 18 shots and Melo took 11..Slighly different scenario
The evidence is incomplete.
When we will see Amare and Melo along with Lin for 15-20 games streach the question will be answered this way or another.
Amare and Melo need to by into the system and start working in the system.
We know that Amare was accustomed to this kind of system in Pho so he should just get back to it.
He will need to play another role zo and it is not clear if he can do it.
Melo has to change his game. Hi is in NY. NY fans don't give a damn how much he scores, he need to help team to win.
Can he do it? Only time will tell.
