Has Band-Aid or Curad contacted Lin yet?

Floyd is living the life. Boxing does have it's upsides.
Not sure what this has to do with the Heat, but I'm happy.
Teamwork

The TEAM took down Kobe and Dirk, and don't you forget it. Lin certainly hasn't. To defeat the Heat without Shump, everyone needs to get back on defense to stop the Miami gazelles from getting crazy.
Amar'e gets Lebron for a short shift. Carmelo needs to bring the defensive effort he had last night. The Captain needs to play like The Captain. Lin needs to stay under control with two high quality defenders running at him.
It's a scrimmage. Don't believe the hype.

But not in the same game, try not to forget that. Wade's playing out of his mind right now.

We need to finally see that Melo Mojo over LaQueen in action.
I want Tyson to send a message to LeDouche that this is a no layup lane.
Time for the NY KNICKS to lay the WICKED BEATING on the Miami Heat... In their OWN HOUSE!!!!

To hell with a LeBron, a D-Wade, and a Bosh... We have a BETTER TEAM.
GO KNICKS!!!
Who will have the career game tonight? Lin? Melo? STAT? JR? Novak? Fields? Chandler? Davis?
This team has GUNS, folks. Time to lock, load and FIRE @ 7PM EST.

This is a showdown. Is you about it, though?

Hahahahhaha, strong take
The keys to this game will be Novak draining 3's off the bench, getting one of their big 3 in foul trouble, AND HITTING FREE THROWS, WE ARE GOD AWFUL AT THE LINE
I can't wait for this game. What will be even better is when we play the Heat in the NBA Eastern Conference Finals!!! Ratings!!!!!!
jrodmc wrote:We need Shump on Wade and that aint happening. Anyone (and I can't believe I'm saying this) for starting JR over Fields for defensive purposes?
Hell yeah. Would feel way more comfortable with Shump available to try to make Wade work for his buckets
If Shump's not playing tonight, he might as well skip Slam Dunk Competition as well.

good call.
if it were 3 days ago
Shump is already out for the dunk contest and for tonight. Basically, New York has to force Miami to take jump shots tonight and it's important for New York to not turn the ball over. It's also important for New York's second unit to play well.

I did not know that Carlos Delfino was a Knick fan.
Really?
“I know I’m going to end up guarding Lin at some point,” - Lebron James.
We have to play flawless tonight..lin can not have all those TO's..they kill us

If Lebron guards Lin will people be made when they Iso Melo on the smaller defender or Battier?

They don't, they really don't kill us.
Or, at the least, we can't say with certainty that they kill us.
It's a complex system, the hoops game on the hardwoods. If he doesn't get the turnovers, maybe his style is not the same, and if his style is not the same, he doesn't have the same impact?
Lin has to play his game, you hope he doesn't turn it over, but at the same time I won't say he kills us with 5 turnovers a game if he gets 2 back and makes everyone else on the floor feel so good about themselves.
Novak had a rough outing against the Heat the last time but that was pre-Lin. I'm sure he wants some payback. Hope he lights them up.
knicks1248 wrote:We have to play flawless tonight..lin can not have all those TO's..they kill us
Wrong. No team plays flawless basketball. Nobody. Lin must stay aggressive. Damn the turnovers. Play tough defense.
