was gonna join everyone tonight but my best-friend had a baby so i went hung out at the hospital with them. i've missed the last couple, i'll be at the next one.

Well first of all the only down part of the night was the freaking game. Jesus h. after the game we all said our mood was deflated but we were NOT gonna let it get depressed. (that’s where our old friends capn morgan, mr 1800, cousin svedka etc came through in the clutch). Now I must say dj acted more or less decently during the debacle. Personally I would have been crowing and taunting, but he was lowkeying it. I think the presence of the aptly-named hardcore helped to hold that shit down.

The gang in attendance included our old buddy silverfuel, on designated driver duty for the night , guns, sporting a mad mohawk and managing to avoid living up to his new moniker chunksnewing, the suave raconteur actionjackson, martin, down from the sticks and anxious to sample some new big city diseases, ramtour (mrs rammy he was GOOD all night!!!!), dj, hardcore, and of course our host, mr. killa4luv.

The terrible performance by the knicks was, of course, evil’s fault, but we’ll discuss that at another time.

The food was awesome as always . I partook in jerk chicken, callaloo , collard greens, peas and rice, which were all as great as they sound.

At 2am we arranged ourselves for the group photo (to be posted, I’m sure). But prior to that, killa delivered an impassioned address to us all on the meaning of our friendships to him, the kinship, camaraderie, the number of years we’ve been meeting up and sharing pains and joys of being knick fans (ok pains, but joys of hanging together). There wasn’t a dry eye in the house, not even hardcore’s when he opened them (“I was meditating” ) and the line of the night was then delivered by killa’s mom: “ok would you please finish hugging all your friends so we can close up? “ really great night, great hosting, great company. If you have to get through a night of knicks dumping on you, this is the crew to get you through.

Marv u forgot the best line of the night, delivered effortlessly by DJ: "UltimatKnicks: where men go to meet other men online."

good times but like Andrew said, I am starting to believe that get togethers are cursed. How can they shoot so poorly against the effing raptors?

I wonder if anyone got drunk and slapped around another reveler?
