I'm having bacon now and four eggs and a big coffee!

Draft night is really going to suck this year if the Rockets end up with a lottery pick.
MarburyAnd1Crossover @ 3/11/2012 2:46 PM

Yeah - the coach has nothing to do with that. Chemistry is up to the players. Coaches are just there to make 5 million a year, call an occasional time out and ... uh ... what else, I'm blanking ...

Yea, no, you're right. Of course.

The coach is there to hold kumbaya circles around a fire, make them hold hands and hug.

Come on, man.

The problem is that these "professional" ballers are anything but professional. Beh-lee-dat.

That is what is said about any coach before they get fired.

Probably any Knicks coach.

Like our friend said, we'll burn through at least 2 or 3 more coaches until something is done about Melo. The problem is that Donnie might be dead by then, so who will lead the rebuild?

You got to see a well coached team today and one where the coach makes a big difference. You will see the same thing tomorrow night. D'Antoni isn't a good coach and has to rely on his players professionalism to win. There is a huge difference between what some teams have on the bench and what the Knicks have.

PJax. [praying silently]

nobody else.

If its not PJax then I want Isiah back for theatrical purposes. Might as well have fun watching.

Hahahahahaha, yea, D'Antoni isn't a good coach!

Shitty coaches go to multiple Conference Finals and win 60 games all the time, this is like a regular thing in the NBA.

God forbid, imagine, relying on grown men to act like grown men? Stupid guy, MDA, what a crazy assumption to make today in 2012. Guy should know that he's coaching a pee-wee league team.

Nice argument. Ever heard of Paul Westphal? Why the heck was he fired from Sacramento? He was such a great coach in PHX - a play away from winning it all!

Because he sucked in Sacramento - thats why.

I don't care about PHX, or Europe or Team USA or SSOL or ... Please don't suck as the KNICKS coach.

How long is someone grandfathered into a position because they experienced success some place else? It is looking like Mike D'Antoni may have experienced the perfect storm in Phoenix and this may not happen again. It certainly isn't happening in NY. The Knicks have their 'stars'. I don't see them making moves to create a team that fits the coaches system.

Tonight is a great night t0 be a Knocks fan!

....then again, it is only 9:30pm (EST), there is still time to lose!!!!

BRIGGS @ 3/13/2012 10:16 PM
Now we know why they got rid of Donnie Walsh. Now no one can talk about the Knicks except the fans. This shut the last mouth-piece down.

AlexanderFuSheng wrote:...I wonder how this board was going when The Knocks had Paty Ewing JR on the team for tryouts & we kept Rautins over him.
Did everyone scream about that? or was it not a big deal? I think the fans wanted him for the most part & since the team sucked at the time & it was only the 12th roster spot, they should have thrown the fans a bone & kept him. He threw down that dunk in preseason & it was like the last time the building got excited until Linsanmity started.

....Just curious about that -0 it was a year or 2 ago, I think.

I remember people being more angry about keeping this Stanford guy named Landry Fields over Jr. At the very beginning Rautins was perceived as the one that might have a chance at a roster spot, not Fields.
