Fields was playing badly in his own right and Shump has earned that starting spot, that's how i see it.

His sources are usually legit, he does pieces for hoops world and looks about 13, but he is strangely well connected and has players texting him inside info.

Urgh, I can't take another loss- for some reason peoples reactions to losses are much worse this year, these boards are absolute misery when we don't win! It's the curse of raised expectations. I think we'll be lucky if we go 50% the rest of the way and end up 8th seed- that will be okay for me. A win tonight would be great- will be interesting to see:

Was amar'es performance a one off or is he really back?
Will Melo bounce back or blow up?
Will Lin get his groove back or is he just going to be mediocre the rest of the way?
Is jr going to rediscover his 3pt shot?
Is Landry going to the bench? How's that going to affect his confidence?

Don't know if we can do it but I'd like to see us get a win against a top tier team

Well, it doesn't help that we are playing in San An. Very tough place to win a game. but it doesn't matter to some on here, they will dismiss the fact that we haven't won there in perhaps a decade, instead will microanalyze Melo's body language and every single shot he takes. If we lose, it will be on Melo...or Stat. Book it.

Shouldn't our two highest paid players take a fair share of glory for wins and a fair share of blame for losses??

man, the Knicks have had the WORST luck with injuries this year (outside of Oden, who should just play chess or something).

Melo, Amare, Chandler, JJ, Shump. Damn.

I hope they get it out of the way now and then have a strong end of March and April. Despite the losses this team is still within striking distance of the Atlantic Div. Crown. Boston has an even more grueling March schedule and Philly is shaky. Let's hope we can play inspired D tonight.

I know we're all--realistically probably--bracing for a spanking, so how about some over-under action to mitigate the misery?

OVER/UNDER

STAT 10 rebounds
MELO 25 points
FIELDS 5 minutes of playing time in the 4th quarter
NOVAK 4 triples
SHUMP 3 dunks
LIN 1 bloodletting

Always thought Dolan should try to get the Suns' athletic trainer.
Since he has so much invested in Amare without insurance, why not get
the guy that has helped keep Nash & Hill on the court?

How does this work? I think I say "over" or "under" for each situation, so I will do this unless you correct me.

STAT 10 rebounds OVER
MELO 25 points UNDER
FIELDS 5 minuts 4th quarter UNDER
SHUMP 3 dunks UNDER
LIN 1 bloodletting OVER
