I mean come on now!!!You just have to use your head a little to figure out what is fairly obvious. Has MDA EVER like selfish players??? What are the principles of his system? It's not a selfish player style of offense and works well with giving stars and a bunch of team oriented players.
Nixluva, you say things as if you were/are part of the contingent. I do not like stating things as fact if I don't know them to be fact. You can say that it is your opinion but not fact based on logical or illogical conclusions.
MDA does not - not like selfish players. That type of hybrid guard forward does not fit into his system.
Would Kobe have fit? Be honest please ...
Melo is not and will never be kobe.
See more context of comparison. Then, revisit.
I'm not. You are pretty mature however for 15 LOL LOL
Yeah. I have been married for 16 years and have a few children - but those were immaculate conception lol lol lol lol

LOGIC is a sound way of coming to conclusions when you don't have every single bit of inside information. Logic suggests that since Walsh was not giving Denver everything they wanted and Dolan took over the negotiations, then it's clear Walsh did not want to give so much for Melo.
Logic suggests that since MDA has had problems with selfish players most notibly Harrington and Nate, he clearly prefers team players. His system is based on rapid ball and player movement, so logically he wouldn't really care for ball stoppers.
If MDA had Kobe perhaps Kobe would fit and maybe he wouldn't. We'll never know. What I do know is that Kobe is a committed team defender over the course of his career. Melo's biggest fault isn't his offense or man D. It's how he fits into the TEAM defensive and offensive concept. As i've pointed out many times stats support this fact.

Logic in no way can for conclusions as fact. You can however conclude that it is your opinion.
Harrington looks pretty good in Denver. Kicked the sh1t out of us.
How much of a devoted defender is Stat? Clearly I am in the opinion that MDA does not have that as a be all and end all requirement.
I also logically believe that DW did want Melo but not at the price he paid. I was pissed about that too.
Its pretty much seen that way in the press.
Im not sure anyone really has a take on what MDA thought of it.

Conjecture. I have never heard Donnie or MDA say they were against the trade.
right. donnie just retired because he wasn't feeling it anymore - decided he'd finished the job and wanted to go home. uhuh. sure.
anyone who thinks MDA or Donnie were on board for the melo trade is delusional. and, frankly, it's one reason it hasn't worked. what kind of idiot owner completely blows up his roster without the assent of his front office or coaching staff.

Nobody in there right mind would of been on board for this trade except for Dolan, Isaiah Thomas, and Steven A Smith!
