Melo hasn't really went into ISO ball. He's been taking jumpers in the flow of the offense, which is all MDA was asking. This is basically still MDA's system they're playing. Nothing has really changed yet. The Blazers aren't playing well and the Knicks are digging in on D.
And what about the defensive intensity tonight?
not to mention the body language of everyone....including Amar'e who loved MDA so much
I sure hope people don't now say every 3.5 minutes how they are playing MDA's offense. I don't think anyone give 2 sh1ts. We do give 2 sh1ts if they win and if they do I don't care if its with SUPERSYSTEM!
Bring him back in a Marz like capacity for all I care.
Its about WINNING!
23pts with 3min left in the half! That is what I call defense.

agreed. lol at anyone thinking mike woodson had time to put in any new plays in three hours.
this is a case of playing a team, portland, that is dogging it. and our superstar, melo, who is no longer dogging it.
That's exactly what was wrong with Melo, not that he had to like coach MDA but just as a professional player and captain of this team, he should hve played harder and not quit on the team.

Naw he sucks and the apocalypse of 2012 is now going to commence because
resigned lol No, Stat is busting his butt and working hard. The Trailblazers look listless tho. I think the trade rumors have beaten them down.
Teams just play volleyball with us!

+1 like i said in the other thread if Amare loved Dantoni so much then why was he one of the biggest culprits of quitting
THIS. This is a team that is playing for a coach. THIS!!!
Hmmm players look like they aare having a great time together tonight. Too bad they are all leaving the team next year to follow Dantoni right!

Yes sir
I have not seen Stat rebound like this in a long time. He must have really been unhappy.
So happy that he can be happy again and we can all be happy.

Especially Lin

Not shocking since they are just as quick to blame him for everything!
he was dogging it for d'antoni. maybe sabotaged the season because he didn't like the coach. he deserves the blame. and the boos.
He wasn't the only one dogging it. The whole team quit
That's not really true. They may have lost games but rarely did the team not fight hard. Maybe Melo wasn't always excited to play for MDA, but the team as a whole wanted to play for the guy. It really didn't matter who was coaching tonight with the way Portland is playing.
Amazingly athletic move by Amare!

wow. was amar'e dogging it, too? or is melo playing better just a domino effect? or is portland really this bad?
Amar'e...where have thou been all thy season?
