If we can get to 24-24 tonight can the Lovers & Haters unite to try to propel the team towards the play-offs with good vibes???

It seems a mythical hurdle, this ".500" We sniff it for a minute then it goes away. For all the greatness "Linsanity" brought in February we peaked at .500 but never went over. What will the haters say if we say hello to .500 for a game and go above and beyond the rest of the season?

SteveSmith @ 3/23/2012 9:52 AM
Probably not.

I have another wish for after going .500 though: going .600. Why? How? Well:

Its not the stretch of hell. Its the stretch of statements!

@ Raptors: W, bad team.
vs. Pistons: W, bad team, protect home.
vs. Bucks: W, important game, protect home at all cost.
vs. Magic: W, statement game. Yes, even really good teams cant win in the garden anymore!
@ Hawks: W, already did it, get them to have a bad night.
vs. Cavs: W, bad team, protect home.
@ Pacers: W, we got their numbers!
@ Magic: L, even though it pains me, but if we have to loose, at least not against a bad opp.
vs. Bulls: W, see vs. Magic!
@ Bulls: L, see @ Magic
@ Bucks: W, time to win a big one away from home!
vs. Wizards: W, home, bad team.
vs. Heat: W, them Heat not leaving the Garden with a win, period!
vs. Celtics: W, Boston Basterds!
@ Nets: W, after Lin vs Deron #1 and 2, its Deron vs Knicks Team now!
@ Cavs: W, these are the games we lost in the past. Not anymore!
@ Hawks: W, win away against a rather good team. No prob!
vs. Clippers: W, good team, but its the garden, baby!
@ Bobcats: W, its the kittens, its the last game of the season. Win!

I know its the Knicks, so they might as well loose all the W and win the 2 L, but if they play with effort and pride, this is possible!

40:26 aka .600.

Gogogo!

PS: This is not necessary what I think they will do. Its what they themself should target for this remaining season!

let's be honest, if he misses a jump shot it's because he doesn't really care about the team, only Lala.

In my new pacifist vibe, I will accept your hatred & say only that I will pray for you (w/Tebow) and hope you repent your wicked ways of "hateration"

yikes...it's all my fault

Should know better than to expect anything from the Knicks. Same old Knicks fan I guess fool me one and fool me twice do not apply to NYK fans we are just fools.
Knicksfan @ 3/24/2012 12:47 AM
Lets see what happens tomorrow. If we have another bad game, then its true its just the same old Knicks. I hope they come out ready.

Woody needs to start devising a way to counter the Zone. It would've helped if Melo had his offensive game going, but unfortunately it wasn't.

Vmart @ 3/24/2012 12:58 AM
If the Knicks can go 5-1 every six games they will be fine for rest of the season.
Knicksfan @ 3/24/2012 8:02 AM
Hahahaha of course! Problem is, the only consistency they have shown this season is to have a good streak followed by a bad one. Then another good followed by a bad one. If we can indeed go 5-1 again in our next 6, then we are cooking for real.

Next two games will truly be important indicators of where we are. Detroit is a bad team we have to respect and play with effort. The Bucks are so close to us right now that it will be an intense playoff game and they will come out firing everything they have so we have to match their intensity and play our game to succeed. They also present us a chance to move to .500, which we seem allergic to but have to move there if we are any serious about the playoffs.

They need to beat every bad team left. Last night was a horrible loss. Especially with Mil playing a bad team and Boston v Philly. Last night really hurt.
