Talking heads saying Amare should not have made the trip..Players saying Amare will be back sooner than some think...NYTimes saying he has responded really well to the Epidural...
Long flight to Indy, How bad can his back be..Get well soon, we need ya!!!....
That Epi is some good stuff!!! He shouldn't feel pain after that settles in. He should be able to play at a high level thru the playoffs and they can do surgery in off season.
Peter V...says that is irresponsible behavior!
Amar'e is done for the year he is traveling with team because it's party time

this is not necessarily a good thing. I know the Knicks have decent doctors and training staff, but sometimes when you can't feel pain your push yourself way to hard and aggravate the injury more. If he needs surgery at any time I would rather it be sooner than later

He better not come back to play with epi. If he needs surgery then be it, just don't break that back even more

The Epi includes a mix of Cortisone (a Steroid) and pain killers, both short and long duration types and the whole mix serves as an Anti inflammatory treatment. This is good cuz it also allows STAT to stretch and do other therapy to help give a long term relief to the spine. His disc isn't herniated but merely bulging. From what I understand he's not likely to do anything that would cause a more serious injury just cuz he was more or less pain free. Not if he's able to get the swelling down, which is the main cause of the pain and at the same time strengthen his core. They say you can have up to 3 Shots a year if needed. Sometimes it's so effective that you have long term relief as long as 3 years. Before they would operate they'd 1st track the healing progress of the Disc to see if it shrinks on it's own.

It would be nice to catch a break for change.
