I think Van Gundy will get fired on his own merits if the Magic don't make some serious noise in the playoffs. That being said, this was a brilliant move by him. He will be able to walk away with his head held high. These Van Gundy boys have a knack for bailing just before they are about to get canned.

I think he knows that he is gone and he wanted to let people about Howard. Can't blame him. Howard has looked like a jerk the entire year and now if SVG goes it is on his hands. He should have forced a trade.

I have no problem with Dwight want him fired and/or discussing it with management. That happens everyday with many stars. Was Shaq any different? Kobe? Magic? ...........
SVG was classless in the way he handled it. MDA had more class than that and I respect him for that.
I do have a problem with DHoward coming out tonight and laying an egg. That showed that he is missing that superstar killer instinct. He shoulda killed it tonight with angst!
