Knicks · This euphoria is a little over the top (page 10)

Things were really bad prior to the coaching change. If Woodson were extended he would need to go 6-20 with different variations of a starting roster to lose at the rate D'Antoni was losing at. I think similar to Lin, the Knicks found a coach that fits well with this roster and will help them win.

Last night's win was truly "Euphoric"!

Last night Woody did the things I was hoping for when I started the thread. We got Tyson involved in the offense early and often. That's an easy 10-15 points waiting to happen each night if we can do it right. He called plays for Novak and got JR to do something other than shoot. The offense showed ball movement and fluidity. There was no stagnation. Hope he keeps this up and props to him for recognizing the obvious issues with our offense.

Doc Rivers said after the game that they kept leaving everyone open to run 2 or 3 guys at Melo in the post and that it was a big mistake. He kept on passing out of that and finding open guys. And, those guys were abnormally on fire.
I don't think other teams will do this. If they do and are shooters are in the feast mode then this can/will happen again.

2nd period was crazy!
Live by the three or die.
We lived large last nite.
Fun game to watch.

Give props to Woody for sitting BD the phuck down for Bibby, who actually made "smarter" decisions out there. The wonders a decent orchestrator can do for our offense. Don't need an all world PG, just some one that can direct traffic when there's stagnation.

Thats a bit of what we were last year. A team that lived/died by the 3. However, now, there have been many games that our 3's are not falling at all and we still are winning those games. We just make the other team shoot sh1ttier.

Normally I'm not a big a fan of shooting so many 3s, but most of those 3 pt attempts were off swings and penetration. So if you're open, why not?

Sunday, after the game at dinner, Coach Woodson was beating himself up for re-inserting Baron Davis late. he accepted responsibility for having influenced the Miami surge.
He did not make the same error in judgement twice.

Yes, I noticed that too. Our offense was functioning well with broken ass Bibby. Sad reflection on Baron's condition. I can see why the Cavs amnestied him. He has been complete garbage with his shot selection, lack of penetration and clock management.
gunsnewing@ 4/18/2012 12:44 PM
I'm listening to ESPN radio & its funny Bibby has one good game and all the callers want him to play over Baron. Might happen but give it more than one game. Older players tend to have good games every once in a while

How can we lose?
y2zipper@ 4/18/2012 12:53 PM
It comes down to playing the hot hand. Neither Bibby OR Davis happen to be good enough to start and wouldn't usually have to when Lin returns, so Woodson has to play whoever happens to be on.

Its not about being hot. I don't even want them to shoot. Thats BD's problem. He thinks he is still a star and that makes him even worse. BD can't get the ball up the floor. He is done!

Is euphoria for STAT's play over the top too???....

This was your concern after the Knicks beat the Bulls to go to 11-3 under Woodson?
