Knicks · Seriously, though, let's stop this silly comparison of Melo and Gallo.. (page 2)

BasketballJones wrote:I think the mods would say that it is perfectly acceptable to compare Melo to Gallo as they are both basketball players, whereas it does not make sense to compare Melo to D'Antoni because one is a basketball player and the other is a coach.

But they are both employed in basketball. And, who's comparing?

did you know that Melo is Italian for apple tree, and if an apple tree fell on a rooster the rooster would be crushed....so Melo is better then Gallo
ChuckBuck @ 4/19/2012 4:05 PM
This is the only comparison you need. Who has a painting of himself in his crib, who doesn't?

Game, set, match, b$tches!

Melo in his prime vs. Dantoni in his prime as a player...My money is on the guy with the moustache.

We really need to forget about MDA already. Its an abused mentality.

Ya I dont know why people keep bringing MDA up. For a guy that everyone loathed they sure do talk about him a lot. I mean he is gone people need to move on since we are doing much better now

Please start threads telling us to stop each of the following:
A) comparing Melo to Gallo;
B) comparing Woodson to MDA; and
C) comparing Baron to Bibby

The best way to get people to stop talking about these subjects is obviously to start threads on each of them.

How about starting a thread that tells people to stop the sarcasm as it relates to people starting threads about starting threads

Lame. He should have used Access instead of Excel.

SupremeCommander @ 4/19/2012 7:41 PM
the only person that would make this comparison is orangeblobman, and that's because he's a closet case that wants to get taken by Gallo and/or get antlers shoved up his cornhole

OK I'll stop with the sarcasm now.

Yes, but your average user doesn't want to set up a dual boot system or install VMWARE or Virtual box just to run database software. It is true that you can run MYSQL on Windows, but I think for an end-user trying to do data analysis, the UI tools in Access are a better choice
