I hope to God that we don't have the same thing happen to the Knicks that happened to Woody's ATL teams. They got swept out of the playoffs in 2 consecutive years. I hope that this doesn't happen to the Knicks.

34 point lead- do we rest Baron Tyson Amear and Melo for the quarter?
Is a 35 point swing possible in a quarter? Has it ever happened in a game, let alone playoffs?

Melo coming up small and LeBron showing him what a superstar looks like, period.

We have tough talkers that don't deliver.

nadavshomron @ 4/28/2012 5:35 PM
would somebody send lebron to the floor with a hard foul!!!!!!??

Nope they have to suck it up and figure out how to run a freaking offensive set for game two

Now reports correcting Derrick Rose injury, saying initial report was premature.

Carmelo has been the focal point of the offense the past two most. If you shut him down, theoretically, the Knicks will not win. They have prove that today. No one else was looking to create on offense instead of tying to feed Carmelo the bal.

I feel awfully bad about losing Shump but its not the end of the world. JR will start. He just needs to hit his shots and stop over dribbling
MaTT4281 @ 4/28/2012 5:37 PM
I don't know about the rest of you, but I am too numb to even care right now. Team was just absolutely deflated from that 2nd quarter. Add Shump on top of that? Get well soon, Rook.

I will give credit to Miami. LeBron is just an extremely talented individual. Leading candidate for NBA MVP AND has those acting chops to boot? Didn't even go to college. Delonte West must be proud to call him 'son'.

Lets not forget the heat went to the Finals last year.

The haters better steer clear of me this weekend. I am seriously in the mood to punch someone in the fuckin' face if they say the wrong thing to me about this shit...

I am saying this as I continue drinking...

(reaches for the Bacardi 151... fills my Knicks cup up 1/3 of the way...)

Okay fellas, who wants to join me?

My thoughts about this game:
1: Refs have been really bad, but we reach way to much.
2: Woody has been outcoached badly
3: WHy the hell are we guarding Joel? and not using the zone at all.
3: Another game when our "Big" 3 all play and they suck.
4: ISO Melo only will never work against the heat.
5: Woody never runs plays against good teams.
6: Get well soon Shump, hopefully you have a healthy next year.
smackeddog @ 4/28/2012 5:41 PM
Ha- watch the ref's desperately try to reduce the FT discrepancy now the game is over!
CrushAlot @ 4/28/2012 5:41 PM
Stat lands on his back. Might be time to get him out
