Knicks · GAME THREAD: Knicks can take the Heat by Staying in Kitchen to Cook Up a Playoff Victory !!! New York vs Miami 4/28/12 @ 3:30pm (page 31)

BRIGGS @ 4/28/2012 5:53 PM
I think a line up and philosophy change is in order. We have NOT played the Heat well this year. Melo should play 4 so he doesnt match on LBJ
Gymkata @ 4/28/2012 5:53 PM
This pretty much sums up my feelings.

holfresh @ 4/28/2012 5:53 PM
Take JR out the game please..Can't lose him too

If we are going to get manhandled by the Heat now then what makes anyone think we'll beat them next year or the year after? Doesn't make sense to me. This shouldn't give confidence to anyone.

It's not working and a major change is needed.

Then you dont know basketball.

Great post, bro. You really gave me a lot of insight. I supposed we can click our heels together and wish for a championship and we'll get it. Silly me.

Yep, the Knicks are capped out. This is the problem with building a team the way the Knicks built this team. Idiotic trades took away any potential for a championship. I have been screaming this for a very long time. A championship team needs to be built from the draft up with free agent signings to complement the championship level draft player. This team needs to be leveled and built the correct way, but what do I know. Im in the minority with this idea.

Either that or we need Lin to play like a star. We need another source of scoring to complement Amare and Melo.

Van Gundy suggested this also.

If we win Game 2 advantage goes back to us. Damn why is STAT on the floor put JJ2 in Woody!

True... but I just expected this game to work out a whole lot better than this for us than this...

Knicks need to even the scales a bit... Start butchering the Heat and throwing some elbows....

I won't be contented until we WIN that game 2... or until I see at least one of the major Heat players get carried of like Shump did.

UK Meetup here? Game 2 or tonight just to drink? http://www.yelp.com/biz/jimmys-corner-ne...

Take JR out
ATrain @ 4/28/2012 5:56 PM
Is TD in uniform? Put him in, let him give the heat the flu
CrushAlot @ 4/28/2012 5:57 PM
I wanted Jordan in the game but not this way.

They got off to a decent start despite Melo not being ready. The their was a huge momentum swing in the 2nd quarter partially because of the refs, woodson's lack of adjustments, and miami's awesomeness

holfresh @ 4/28/2012 5:57 PM
Knicks didn't match their intensity..
SupremeCommander @ 4/28/2012 5:57 PM
talk about pathetic... the game itself, and people posting agendas (Pringles, trade) during the friggin playoffs. ha

Agree, but to be fair we had 2 games back to back followed by 1 day to prepare.

Clean @ 4/28/2012 5:58 PM
Funny thing is this all happened because the Knicks put up a stinker in cleveland. IF we were playing IND now instead of Heats no way they get these calls and Shump would not hurt his knee right there.
holfresh @ 4/28/2012 5:59 PM
We gotta see how Woody bounces back..He job is riding on this..

To think we sucked all those years and had so many chances at drafting a star but winded up blowing the picks and trading the good ones away and helping build the Bulls team

nixluva @ 4/28/2012 5:59 PM
Woody has his work cut out for him. Only one day to try and figure it out. This game was toast when we saw Melo playing tight. The last thing we needed was for our best player to come out cold. Then on top of that the refs were atrocious, but I don't expect that to happen again. Knicks need to come out aggressive on Monday.
