I doubt they would give us the call. Knicks did more than their share to lose this game but after the whole Tim Donaghy fiasco, these refs look like they know exactly what they're doing.

Who's intensity the Heat's or the Refs.
Did they say if Shump will be OK or not?
ATrain wrote:holfresh wrote:Melo laying the 4 will make it worse because Bron will still guard him and there will definitely be no offensive alternate...They will keep denying Melo the entry pass..The game is a lot more complex than that gents
Lebron guarding him is not the problem. Spacing is.
Melo not getting the ball where he likes it is the problem..He is getting looks and just not hitting them..

The last update was that they were taking him to the hospital for an mri.
There has to be an advantage when Miami committs to ball denial like that..
You can't defend Floppense

And that according to knicks staff it didn't look good.
The worst part of Shumps injury is that he will miss out on another summer where he could work on his game.
24 turnovers. Chandler with 7.
By the way u Melo at the 4 lovers, Melo played the 4 a big portion of the second quarter with STAT on the bench when the lead got extended ..
The curse of the Bambino had nothing on whatever is on the Knicks.

Klay Thompson during the game:

I'll never respect floppers
We're looking at you, Bron.

The karmic cost of the Allan Houston game-winner was steep.
Amare and Melo has to man up..It's just that time..
How can the Knicks study tape on the Heat and not know how to beat their D. We should be getting paid because we can figure it out and we are just fans. The one time they found an Open Novak on the weakside melo threw the ball out of bounds.

"Melo at the 4" lovers? WTF? Can we STOP with this lover-hater horsesh!t?
Melo has to roll to the basket on the Post denial
Knicks can get back in to this series on monday if they take advantage of the Heats overplaying Melo. When we beat teams we were not just posting Melo, but having motion off that play too. We can post Melo and when they overplay you can have STAT coming off a curl on the weakside and send a cutter down the lane. There are lots of options to simply looking to force it into Melo.
What I saw was that our role players were a bit tight. Shump was scared to shoot and as a team we didn't adjust to the way they were defending Melo so aggressively. Woody has to see this sooner and change up the approach. He failed in this game big time. His in game adjustments weren't there. He's got to react faster and give the team a set of responses to the aggressive and fast Heat defense. It's not easy to prepare a team for the Heat. They're so fast on defense. We need to use that against them tho. We'll see how Woody responds to this on Monday.
