im pretty happy outside of amares lack of defense. the heat just hit every damn shot it seems
They gotta knock Wade to the floor somehow, the guy is lighting them up.
So psyched this is a game. Breen is pretty focused in on being critical of everything Melo does tonight. I may switch to the national broadcast.

NOW THAT'S IS SPREAD OFFENSE!!
I'd like to see Woody use a zone for a while in this game cuz I don't think the Heat will be expecting it. Nice job of saving Tyson more for the 2nd half.

today?
looks?
Whatever, I am trying to stay positive. Way too much shit has gone wrong with injuries we need these guys to succeed with what's left on the floor. And that includes Deer in the Headlights
nixluva wrote:I'll take 6 down at this point. They had some slippage on D to end the 2nd qtr. They can't let the Heat just run down the court cuz they'll score every time on those kinds of plays. Still Knicks right there is a good thing.
they have to let the heat just run down the court or the refs will call a foul.
meanwhile, the knicks are getting brutalized and not getting calls.
league wants the heat in the finals. the knicks have no chance. 8 on 5 all series.
knicks shoulda tanked for bulls, as icky as that sounds.

WE take what we can get. He is still better than Baron
We're keeping it close. Just hope we don't have one of famous 3rd quarter starts.

I just kidding around - sorry!
It was funny and I saw the opening
If he is not a cap killer, I don't know what is. But heck, maybe I am the minority here but its just how I feel. I hope he proves me wrong.
Kenny diagramming the Spread offense of the Knicks and how hard it is to cover the entire floor with Novak out there!!!
I love Kenny he is showing what I have been saying about Novak on the weakside. I just wish the coaches would see this.

Did you see that half assed screen amar'e set on the last highlight? Thats what really stuck out to me.

no issues, it WAS funny, and sad at the same time.

Those are the exact plays we were talking about yesterday. The Knicks have to keep forcing the Heat to make a choice and hopefully Novak will get a lot more looks in the 2nd half.

Hahah - Kenny would make a great coach. Novak had 1 shot attempt that half and it was our good half.

I was just gonna say, you laid this exact same sh!t out on the last game thread, and the time before when we played Miami

STAT is a funny dude, but we need him
He makes so many brain dead plays. It's easy to see why The Suns and Knicks last year were so bad on D with him in the middle.

Knicks just not playing at the same level. Period. Not running nearly as hard back. Not fouling hard. Not attacking hard. Not nearly enough.
And whose fault is this?
We're just not good enough and it has nothing to do with Lin and Shump and everything to do with Amar'e and coaching. I feel if Amar'e was tradeable we'd be in a much better place. Also we need Phil Jackson badly. Or some legitimate top level coach. Woodson is simply mediocre, especially come playoff time.
Carmelo also is showing why he'll always be in the second level of superstars, like Tracy McGrady. Great player but simply doesn't know what it takes to take it to the next level and will your team through the playoffs. This is why he's been eliminated in the first round 7 of the 8 years he's been in the playoffs. I like Carmelo Anthony and people can lambast me all they want but this is the hard truth. Unless this guy comes out the half and turns it up a notch and turns his level of play up a notch for this entire series then my opinion will remain. Amar'e, he's another story. He just has been a failure in pairing with Melo. Disappears too easily.

I wish someone taught how to play defense when he started his career. Now its too late
