reading the Lupica article kinda calmed me down.

guy called into the lupica show and said he once punched a glass vase and was never able to shoot a basketball again. He had to have surgery to re-attach the ligaments, tendons, nerves and now his hand won't open all the way

It only gets better!
It would have been better if he had just Metta World Peaced Lebrons head and gotten suspended for 30 games.
Slightly off topic, but if you go to that article, you see a picture of the fire extinguisher. My question is, how are you actually meant to get the extinguisher out of the metal case if there was a fire? There's a lock on it and the glass bit (aside from cutting your hand if broken) isn't big enough to get it out of.
LOL! My guess is that they don't want drunk or angry people playing around with the fire extinguisher and they assume that if there's a real fire, you'll take an object (not your hand!) to break it open.
^ Very well done. Can't ever get enough of that movie

I once threw an open grenade and tried to snag it with my mouth - that was not fun.
I once drove into the wrong end of a truck stop - ouch!
Thought I was a tough guy called a cop sugar t1ts - that was a rough night.
So yeah we have all been there.

Its reality.
Continuing to say Amare is a beast is not reality. He is a shell of what he was.
I think Amare is a lot harder on himself. Reality, Amare is having a difficult year. It's a road game you guys aren't really expecting victory on the road are you. Take care of home field than steal a game from the heat that is pretty much how the Knicks are going to pull the upset.
It's like the signs are there; you are not the player that you were. He may be damaged goods now, but he must re-invent his game. Basketball is unlike other sports in that your contribution is not limited to your scoring. Agressive defense, rebounding and boxing out, puts your team mates in position to contribute more. This is A'mare's "Larry Johnson" moment. He has only to step in to it.
At least Amare was just smart enough to punch the glass with his none shooting hand. Still might effect that 15ft jumper tho

He can take a page out of Duncan's book and readjust his game.
Update:
@Al_Iannazzone
Amare is seeing a hand specialist right now. He won't play in Game 3 and a return this series is doubtful.
The Knicks should have an official update later today.
Lets keep our lacerated fingers crossed, would be an absolute nightmare if he's damaged ligaments and nerves
Got to be kidding me. This guy is a fucking moron.
If he cant come back and play for game 3 or 4 his trade value is shot until next season.
Amare finally hits the glass.

Its name escapes me right now. Which one is this?
