Hibbert in New Orleans?

Or KG/Duncan to mentor Anthony Davis and show leadership.
They are all solid defensive players, Davis despite his potential, could use a mentor as a 2-3 year deal to help him grow and become the next leader.

I see TD retiring a Spur. KG going to a contender

yup yup yup.

even if that happens, SOMEONE will bid for his services for 1year that is under the cap.
Now way he would make it to the Knicks

Very possible, but its not like New Orleans doesn't have talent on their squad, with cap room, and can buyout Rashard Lewis for more cap room.
They can be playoff contenders and be young at the same time.
For KG, he can get a huge offer, with the ability to play form probably the best PF/C combo with their length, all round skills, and will be fun to play/watch.

I'd love it but you're right. Someone will offer more than what we can give. In fact, he'd be picked up on waivers before we ever got a shot at him.

Good pick for Phx.

Very solid player, that was expected to drop.
Don't have to be athletic, he is a steal at their pick.

Goodbye Iggy?
ATrain @ 6/28/2012 9:00 PM
They needed a center.
ATrain @ 6/28/2012 9:01 PM
I hope this is a horrible pick.
gunsnewing @ 6/28/2012 9:01 PM
of course ESPN is rubbing the fact we gave up the 16th pick in our faces!
gunsnewing @ 6/28/2012 9:02 PM
the next 10 picks better be a bust
gunsnewing @ 6/28/2012 9:04 PM
Houston takes Arnett Moultrie or Royce White
ATrain @ 6/28/2012 9:05 PM
I hope Houston takes Sullinger
gunsnewing @ 6/28/2012 9:09 PM
At 16 we'd be looking at Marquis Teague would've been the perfect backup pg to Lin as he would provide offense off the bench against other teams 2nd unit
ATrain @ 6/28/2012 9:12 PM
Woj saying Dallas might trade this pick. I think they should keep it.
ATrain @ 6/28/2012 9:19 PM
Zeller traded to Cleveland. I sure his parents are happy their traveling has simmered down a bit. From North Carolina to Indiana in a mini van now they only have to travel from Indy to Cleveland.

I think they were both anticipating the Wizards to pick him

True the emotional outburst makes sense now. You'd have to figure Washington would take Beal. That's gonna be a hell of a backcourt and the additions of Nene, Ok4 & Ariza makes them a contender for getting in the playoffs. One thing is for sure the Knicks have to run away from the Atlantic this year. None of this 7th-8th seed BS. With Woodson over Dantoni and a full summer & camp we should have no prob getting out of the gate strong

gunsnewing @ 6/28/2012 9:30 PM
Boston Sullinger or Moultrie
