Williams, Johnson, Wallace AND Howard???? Holy ****!!!!
EnySpree @ 7/3/2012 8:40 AM
Kris Humphreys in the mix too....anyway you look at it....Brooklyn will be ready for war.
ChuckBuck @ 7/3/2012 8:43 AM
Huh? Humphries, Brooks, and Bropez would be included in the deal if it went down. You're looking those 3, the 2 2nd rd picks and bunch of vet mins...

Oh yea, and Gerald Wallace

crzymdups @ 7/3/2012 9:01 AM
goooooooo brooklyn. my home town team is really coming together! i kid i kid... kinda. sigh.
crzymdups @ 7/3/2012 9:02 AM
also, the dwight thing isn't a done deal and i think the nets package will wind up being the weakest... then again if dwight uses his leverage he might be able to get there...

Orlando GM Rob Hennigan also trying to engage the Hawks, Rockets, Lakers and possibly Mavs in Howard talks. Full-court press.

The Brooklyn scenario isn't imminent, and it isn't the only one Orlando is working on, sources say.

Knicks will lose casual Knick fans by the droves if this goes down. Someone get Dolan on suicide watch

Hell, forget suicide- Dolan will need bodyguards to protect himself from fan assassins if the Russian gets this done.

Thank goodness it will be easy for a former ABA Nets fan like myself to migrate back to being a supporter of the Brooklyn team.

Loved seeing nets on back cover of ny paper. Get use to it. #hellobrooklyn

If they get this done they will own NY. This isnt like the Giants Jets rivalry where one team actually wins. We dont win anything. We will be 2nd fiddle for sure. The only thing that might save us is Nash

You gotta take a long-term perspective. If this happens, why would any kid living in NY who hasn't picked a team pick the Knicks? I think a team run better than the Knicks that's in NYC is Dolan's biggest nightmare.

Yup... it will be a merchandise and publicity massacre for Dolan.

Yormark is honestly an f'ing a-hole. Hate that guy. I can't root for a team in the division either even though I'm a fan of JJ
ShellTopAdidas @ 7/3/2012 10:18 AM
That's not even the scary part. The scary part is that this the kinda roster P Jax wouldn't mind coaching. And since the Russian hates us......
tj23 @ 7/3/2012 10:23 AM
I keep thinking NJ(yes I'm going to keep calling them that haha)can't afford all these guys but they can probably go over the cap to re-sign one or both of Howard/Deron. Ive always been foggy on that rule. You can go over to sign a guy when you own his bird rights, but if you sign a player with his bird rights while you're under, he still affects the cap? So in a sense ideally you have to sign all the non bird exceptions first and all the players with bird rights afterwards to maximize your cap space? I'm sure that sounds confusing, if it's even correct...

Yeah and Billy King has not had a lot of success up until now. He has been a gambler and it looks like it might payoff.

The media seem to get a boner whenever they consider fantasy scenarios for the nets, it's been that way for the past few years- remember when they said the nets where a better and likely landing spot for lebron. In short i'll believe it when i see it, and when it doesn't happen, then nets will be stuck with two terrible contracts in jj and Wallace for the next 4 years.

If God is a Knick fan then thats exactly what will happen. No howard, deron to dallas and they are left marketing the team around JJ. But lets be real if there is a chance of this trade going down you really think deron will walk away from a chance to dethrone the Heat and win a ring?

Also its funny the media was really pushing for Melo. "you gotta give up the whole knicks team outside of amare" Then as soon as we get Melo the tide turns!
