Have you found more Lin turnover videos yet to prove no point at all? I'm waiting for them in the other topic but you disappeared, like a typical troll.
What, a 5 minute turnover compilation not enough for you?
Let me know when you find a 5 minute turnover compilation for Felton, Kidd, or Prigioni.
I'm glad to know this is the extent of your basketball knowledge.
Good comeback. You are the winner!

Because I said I would post until an official announcement, which the Knicks haven't done yet lol, I can add one more post!
Will add that I hope to see you all on this forum 10-30 years from now (if I remember my password ha) when Jimmy Dolan is no longer owner of the Knicks. So in a way, I am taking the long view here.
Not going to lie, it could be nice being a general NBA fan and not living and dying with one team anymore....
DJ had the right idea a while back by switching to the Raptors (although I couldn't do that). I definitely don't plan on going to Brooklyn, will say that much.
Cheers everyone

When we gave Isiah several different chances to prove himself....I just didn't get it.
When we lost Donnie Walsh...I just didn't get it.
When we chose selfish play over team basketball by forcing D'Antoni out....I just didn't get it.
and
When we let the best thing that happened to the Knicks in a long time, a rising young star PG that came out of no where....walk for nothing in return.....I still just don't get it.
This franchise isn't committed to winning a championship, James Dolan is committed to being the laughingstock of the league.
Wish you all the best of luck, thanks so much for the memories.
I'm too wounded to cheer for any other NBA team so I will not switch allegiances but hopefully one day, the plague that is James Dolan leaves the Knicks. If that day ever comes, I will become a full-fledged fan again in seconds (and if season tickets are available, I will gladly become a subscriber again).
Thanks again everyone.
I am in the same boat. This was the last straw. I can't continue to support or follow a team being led by Dolan.
Sorry to see you go. I have added your name to the list.
Goodbye:

Go in peace, and remember, it's only basketball, and this is just a sports forum.

That wasn't a comeback. It's a true statement.

My bold prediction: After Jimmy D is no longer owner, the new owner will rename the team... probably to something rhyming with -ets.

Thank you Martin and Andrew. Great site and I considered everyone here as my friends. Good luck in everything and anything you guys do.

I think franco also said he is leaving. I'm not sure that's official, so I'll put an asterisk by his name.

One thing I will say. I will still follow the Knicks... but no tickets or merchandise for me, I don't think. They don't deserve it right now.
BasketballJones@ 7/17/2012 11:25 PM
Updated list of those who are leaving. Asterisks by the undecideds.
i hope not, but if he does im sure he'll still frequent appalonia.. maybe we should put him on the list with an asterisk?
Sure, why not. If his account gets deleted due to inactivity, we can just get it off the backup tape, right? You still keeping those tapes in your garage?
ToddTT@ 7/17/2012 11:39 PM
Lin got what he wanted.
I'm just looking forward to the first pick and roll between Felton and Amare.

To all of the posters who are so hurt by this, that they feel the need to leave the UK board, no longer be a Knicks fan, whatever... It's too bad that it went down hat way. You guys do what you have to do, and us True Orange and Blue Knicks Fans definitely will be more than all right.
Take this song with you, as a memento, as you leave the realm of Knicks fandom:
Peace!

GUYS, GUYS!!! This isn't the end. You have to look at it from the perspective of the teams new direction. I don't believe that the Knicks were ever really sold on Lin. By Knicks I mean Woody and by extension Grunwald. Grunwald brought Lin in for MDA but now that MDA isn't here I think he will look to give Woody the same support and get him the kind of players he wants!!! Grunwald is simply doing his job. I can tell that the conversations went like this.
Grunwald: Hey Woody what do you think of Lin as your starting PG? Woody: Well Gruny i'll tell ya he's a good kid, but I don't think he's ready and I want a PG that is less turnover prone and less of a scoring guard. OK Woody how about Nash, Kidd or Felton? Yeah well I can't say no to Nash, cuz he's a 2 time MVP. I really like Kidd and Felton for the style I want to play, so yeah any of those guys is OK by me. OK Woody I'll get going on that.
IMO if the Knicks REALLY believed in Lin 100% they never would've sent him out to other teams to get a price. You just lock a kid up and put it all on the table from the start. You don't go on a starting PG hunt if you already have your starting PG! So right now the team has what it wants and in particular the head coach has what he wants in a roster. Mark my words, this is the roster that Woody wants!!! If you want to get the most out of a coach you give him the players he works best with and tho they never really did this with MDA, now they have a chance to do it right with Woody. GM, Coach and roster are all on the same page! Like this roster or not this is the right way to do it. Now you'll have Woody Ball 100% and not have MDA and Half Woody.
