That is not the case - I saw him miss both playoffs and dealing with numerous injuries - I have low expectations for him staying healthy and explosive and would love nothing better than to be wrong. He is a good guy and we don't have to talk about defense ...

I just find it funny that he gets a pass from many of the MDAers/MeloHaters but thats fine - to each their own. MDA was very lovable and I understand how people are still pining for him and his brilliant non-ISO offensive.

The only person I hated on the knicks was TD and jeferies, and JJ turned it arnd and my opinion on him changed..

I like both those players so I really hope they can get their careers back on track.

Both players will have good years..After everyone gets over losing Lin they'll come to realize how dangerous this team is with a coach who values defense. Defense builds consistency and that's why I predict a 50+ win season. Melo and Chandler will be sharp from jump because of the Olympics and it seems the rest of the team is taking this offseason very seriously. Then people seem to forget we have KIDD..freakin Jason Kidd coming off the bench. Even for 20 minutes that's ridiculous with that second unit. Novak WILL get his shots.

dude i saw amare run all the way down court to get back on defense never once turning around til he was practicly under the basket..by the time he turned around the pg went coast to coast and was right on top of amare laying it in the hoop..had Amare look back for one second he would have easily made a stop..

So why did we sign such a "dumb" guy when there was nobody else bidding? The only other bid I remember was PHX at 3/60.

Perhaps it would have been nice if for most of his career nobody taught him how to play defense nor held him in contempt for missing assignments (if there were any)

The greatest part of the interview was when Breen ask him if he watched the finals and Amare said "yes"

It was huge mistake and one of the only grudges I hold against Walsh. 5 yrs 75 should have been the max we gave him. But we were trying to lure Lebron and show him that we were ready to throw money around.

I find that Dolans biggest issue is not the moves he made but that he is always bidding against himself. With Amare, and if you liked or disliked the Melo trade, they could have held out a bit more and got him for less. The Felton trade, one greek was not enough? He needed to give up 2 for the price of one?

He likes blowing people out of the water - its a macho showing that his boneheaded.

Amare - 4 years @ 80 would have been a breeze. WTF?

The way I see it we're net positive after Felton's return, especially since Novak is a way better shooter than Gallinari. Shumpert, once healthy, should exceed Wilson Chandler, and the Moz is well the Moz.
