Knicks · You want to know why I fear Jeremy Lin? (page 2)

biglove44 @ 8/13/2012 3:26 AM
Will shumpert even be playing at 100% when we play the Rockets? I thought we played them in Nov and December. He wasn't coming back until January...I thought.
tj23 @ 8/13/2012 4:29 AM
I fear the Heat, I fear Amare won't regain enough explosiveness. I fear Dolan and his crazy decision making. I fear this team may not play up to its potential or live up to expectations. But I don't fear Jeremy Lin on a sorry rockets team that is guaranteed a lottery slot.
ChuckBuck @ 8/13/2012 8:36 AM
Lin better fear Felton and Kidd! Kidd going to grab his hair again and cause him to tear the other meniscus!

jrodmc @ 8/13/2012 9:52 AM
I fear David Stern will adjust the Rocket's schedule so they only play Toronto for the entire season.

Lin scores 101 in a game and averages 50 ppg. The rest of the league goes on lockout and has to wait to see who will get to lose the chip to Jeremy.

China then annexes the US, makes Stern the puppet emperor of Taiwan.

The A Team

Mr T: "I pity the foo' who fears a guard who has never played a minute in an NBA playoff game."

Syniko @ 8/15/2012 7:06 PM
Well, Knicks should fear hovering around in the 9th or 10th seed again and jumping in and out of .500
ChuckBuck @ 8/15/2012 7:45 PM
arkrud @ 8/15/2012 10:25 PM
There is no point to fear.
The train is left the station. All bets are off.
Take a back seat and watch the game.
Time for exuses is over.
Melo and Stat have to deliver or get a lot of vaselin ready. Just ask Steph.
And Kurt, Camby, and Kid are just in time to grab retirement money from Dolan.
And Gruny and Woody should be ready for the main thing they hired for... - "Thank You. Thank You. It's all my fault.."
Mray20 @ 8/15/2012 10:37 PM
I fear Lin about as much as Mario Chalmers does.

Um Why? They have a new coach and finished with the second best record in the nba with him during the time he ran the team. I believe Lin only played 2-4 games for that stretch. They have improved the team this offseason with skilled vets and appear to be built to play defense as opposed to being a bunch of pieces that don't fit.

Much like Linsanity Woody caught a big break when Melo got insanely hot for the last 15 games! Don't think it's a lock Melo is that hot again. I don't know what Woody has in mind fully tho we have some clues. I just hope we get career yrs from Melo, STAT and Felton.

I believe Knicks were 9-1 before Melo got insanely hot under Woodson.

I think it was 6-1 or 5-1 but you do not need Melo insanely hot the knicks just need Melo and Stat to perform like they normally do for the team to have a good year. For a great year they need to play above normal. Last year they both had career low shooting numbers while being surrounded by poor pg play. I think the Knicks are going to score more than people think.

They were 6-1 when Lin and Amare went down. Agreed....Melo doesn't need to lpay that way for the Knicks to win. We just need Amare to play the way he's capable of playing and we'll be fine. We have actual PG's this year and I also agree that the Knicks will score more than people think. It's amazing what having a capable PG on a team can do.

Yep, this will be cool to have this kind of PG, but we decided not to.

So now Felton's not even rated as capable? Felton Kidd Prigs < Lin Davis Bibby? Really?

Felton's just a shell of himself at the old age of 28.
