In 3 years, I'd love to have K Love, but seems like it'd be a luxury to have with Chandler here. Reload with Kyrie Irving instead to lead the finest backcourt in Irving and Shumpert in the NBA!

Yes, but as recent patterns also show, we eventually get Knicks who were traded years back traded back to us. Which former Knicks do you want returning in 3 years? Gallinari a Knick again? The Mayor?
No first we have to go through Frye, Ariza and Nate - probably Lee and Randolph too (I mean Zach not the other imbecile).

Well ... even we do win a ring, doing it the ugly way / ISO ball, and not the beautiful spread your offense way will be no fun for me but that's just me. My main goal is watching pretty basketball.

If you had a choice, who would you rather have KLove or Chandler?

If you ever consider changing your handle, I humbly suggest: WeedKoolAid
In 3 years Dolan will move Knicks to New Jersey to piss off Spike and NYC fans...

KLove for sure. The guy doesn't block many shots but he rebounds, is solid from the line, can knock down a 3 and has a POST GAME.

Coach K came to the same conclusion.

If we could replace Tyson with a capable big, of course Kevin Love.
3 years ago we never thought we would have had the roster we have now.....
Anything is possible....

You mean because he gave Love 5 more mpg than an injured Tyson?
Brandon Jennings development is interesting too....he could be in position to sign with us in a few years....he might bulk up a little and improv his shooting and floor game by then then. 3 years is an eternity in pro sports.

Uh no.
Because Tyson did not fit into their offense because he thought it might not be better to play 4 on 5.

Right, and your evidence for that assertion is that he played Love 5 more mpg than the injured Tyson.

17 vs 11 minutes does say a lot, so to answer your question, Yes.
Also, crunch time minutes make a difference as well.
Chandler was unfortunately underutilized. Krzyzewski danced around questions regarding Chandler’s minimized role, saying teams went small and the matchups weren’t right. But against Spain, with the big Gasol brothers and Serge Ibaka, Chandler’s size was desperately needed, but Coach K turned to Kevin Love because he’s a better perimeter shooter, better defensive rebounder and less prone to fouls.

Got 50% more minutes!
Look at the actual games not avg minutes.
Tyson got into foul trouble also.

5 more minutes a game is alot in Olympic play. There's only 10 minutes a quarter.
Between Love and Chandler, the better player is whichever one is 100% healthy.
Bonn1997 wrote:Between Love and Chandler, the better player is whichever one is 100% healthy.
Chandler is never really healthy so that would be KLove.
KL is a max money player and chandler is not. KL is far more valuable.
Best part about bringing in Camby is that when Tyson gets into foul trouble which is all the time we wont get crushed. That is a biggest reason i was excited about this team until the Lin debacle
Love is a good player but I don't think I'd ever throw a max contract at him.
