we need to wait until at least the all-star break before jumping to conclusions. If we are below .500 the it will be a issue

I think we will be one game over... then it will be no issue.
According to a number of posters on this board it's all Carmelo Anthony's fault. Stop trying to take their joy away. Everyone knows Melo is the owner, president, gm, coach and franchise player of this team. Dolan only works for him.

Yet you're the only one who dragged Melo into this thread.
Dumblin will keep this franchise a laughing stock. I find myself not even caring about what the Knicks do know a days and I used to be so passionate about my Knicks, but I'm tired of being set up for disappointment.

So then why are you here whining about them, moaning about them and analyzing them? This would reveal someone who cares too much, not someone who does not care at all.
I'll give you the profile of an indifferent fan. Someone who does not particiate actively on fan boards for that team. Someone who is happy about winning, but indifferent to losing. Meaning that if the team stinks, he/she will turn off the TV and not watch, nor comment on the team. Sorry, but anyone here who says they are indifferent to the Knicks are most likely full if BS.

Oh please, the Knicks are at least the 6-7 th best team in the EAST. And there only going to decline from there due to salary cap, lack.of flexability and old people. Plz tell me, what.is there to get excited about??? This is Dolans "win now" team? Gimme a break!

CrushAlot wrote:I think as time goes on the Walsh era and plan will continue to be scrutinized and eventually seen as an era where many mistakes that will hurt the franchise for a long time were made. The Knicks are in trouble because Walsh wanted to chase the ultimate star. Every other gm knew his goal so to get to a place where it was a possibility he was fleeced by every gm that he did business with. In the process picks, and some good players were moved. When things didn't work out he had to come away with something and that was Amare. Amare was amazing his first half season in NY. But there was a huge risk in acquiring Amare and only a desperate guy would take that on. Walsh made an Isiah type move with that signing and it appears that it will come back to haunt the Knicks.
how is a winning roster, one of the youngest in the league with Felton, Gallo, Chandler, Amare, Fields, Mosgov, etc with picks and MAX cap space available being put in a bad position by Walsh? HOW HOW HOW?
What put us in a bad position was trading away the roster for MElo, leaving us with only ancient players to fill the roster. Now we have no pipeline of young players. It could have been stomached if we at least kept Lin... then you can have the old lunch pale guys up front and watch the backcourt of the future develop in Lin/Shump.
Walsh cleaned out Isiah's mess and now we have it back again. A roster of guys not worth the money with no future. Good times.
Thank god Im a NY Giant fan... its the only saving grace my sportworld has these days.
Having survived a nasty bout with cancer myself I have no problem with the use of the word here. Dolan is the Knicks cancer until he proves otherwise. He's a loyal guy and he spends. I will give him that. The problem is he is loyal to douchebags and spends on idiots.
Walsh wasnt perfect but he was the first and only GM here to have a plan and get us younger and athletic and big.
