You can't keep saying this, the list grows as does his production....

Detroit is playing Phx on the road and Beasley a scorer only has 14pts on 16FGA.... almost end of the 3rd

From Ira Winderman Twitter

The talk in the Heat postgame locker room? That would have been LeBron James marveling at James Harden's stats, reading them aloud to Wade.

Lebron is impressed.

AnubisADL @ 11/2/2012 11:58 PM
Dude Harden is nice. I already said he was worth the money and is a young Joe Johnson 2.0

Harden isn't going to sustain his current production. Teams are also going to start locking in on him.

He's not Joe Johnson you can keep yourself telling yourself that. He's not Joe Bro...plays nothing like him.

Talent wise man. Dudes act like Joe Johnson is a scrub because he got overpaid.

Talentwise they have a couple similarities but overall Harden is a different breed. More time needs to pass by and you'll see. If a player should arise his comparison will be to Harden and not a Johnson...

It's like trying to say Richmond and Houston were the same players....Uhhhh No they weren't or say Spree and Houston were the same player Uhhh No they weren't not even talentwise.

BTW your boy Jennings is hungry....lol

AnubisADL @ 11/3/2012 12:34 AM
Jennings trying to get that Harden money.

Harden is legit but this does remind me of Joe Johnson leaving Phoenix and becoming the man in Atlanta , time will tell if he made the right move and if Houston will win games or he will just put up big stats

Even this comparison is kind of off. One left as a RFA the other was traded before he became a RFA. Lin left New York to become the man in Houston before Harden's arrival did he remind you of Joe?

CrushAlot @ 11/3/2012 1:46 AM
Maybe it was having a real training camp or maybe having vet point guards made the difference but the Knicks crushed the champs. Knicks played great team ball and melo beasties despite injuries.

45 points on 19 shots for Harden! People will soon see him as a top 5 to 10 player in the league.

LOL, if you call almost having a triple/double not GREAT then, well, I don't know what else to say. It's ridiculous that people still can't realize how valuable Lin is.

Not shooting great? he made 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as PG. He had no business pulling in rebounds. That sort of stat is considered AMAZING for anybody.

I've been a big Lin supporter and a critic of letting him go. I was trying to bring some balance to the discussion, though.

By any standard, an awful pre-season. Now, the reg. season has begun. His stats for the first game of the regular season are below:

Game One @ Det.: 35.5 minutes, 12 Points, 4 Rebounds, 8 Assists, 4 Steals, 4 TO, .417 FG%, .000 3P%, .100 FT%
Game Two @ Atl.: 39.5 minutes, 21 points, 10 Rebounds, 7 assists, 0 Steals, 3 TO, .375 FG%, .666 3P%, .875 FT%

Update with last nights game. I did not watch any hoops last night, including Knicks game, but obviously a great game for Lin all around. Kudos to him.

But what about the FG%? Isn't that terrible? And the zero steals ties the all-time record low (held by many) for steals in a game!

LoL, great game. I wont complain about FG% when someone has 12 and 10 and 7 with high % from FT and 3PT. If he plays like this all year then the Rockets made a great investment regardless of the bad fg%. Easily his best game through the pre-season and reg. season.

Was this thread started just to cite Lin stats after each game, or was there a point to the thread? It seems like you started the thread to say, "See, Lin wasn't worth all that". I think you should admit that you started the thread if not with those exact intentions, but something negative toward Lin. I'm telling you now, Lin will put up often very excellent numbers (and of course not every game). It's very adult to admit that you may have been wrong.

I started the thread to track Lin's performance. That is what I stated in multiple posts ALREADY. If he plays well I will say so. If he plays bad I will say so. Where were you wen Lin was playing like trash? You are a fair-weather Lin fan. Do better, kid!

+1. And Nupe got really excited when it looked like the preseason was confirming his views on Lin.
CrushAlot @ 11/3/2012 9:04 AM
It appears Lin played well but I was locked into the Knicks last night and didn't watch any other team. Not sure why this thread is blowing up the morning after the Knicks crushed the heat. The last three seasons have started so badly after dantoni training camps. I was dying to see what the Knicks would look like on the court. I was really impressed. The Knicks haven't had a back court look this good on both ends of the floor for a very longtime. Linsanity was a lot of fun but the Knicks have obviously moved well beyond it. My guess is even Novak enjoys playing more with his new backcourt mates.

What you fail to understand is that I post facts which are stats in this case. It seems you kids are butt-hurt over the fact that I posted Lin's terrible games and said they were bad games. LoL! I also posted his good game and called it a good game without trying to downplay it. That is what's called, fair and accurate reporting. Unlike you, I have NO agenda.
