Kobe was 18 years old right out of high school in not only his first nba season his first playoff series , please don't compare that to a regular season game played by a 24 year old who played 4 years of college ball and is in his third nba season
I remember watching that game. You could tell that it was too much too soon, but a learning experience. Wasn't considered a big deal back then if I recall correctly.

They jumping on Lin already? They want "linsanity" and the self inflicted hype that they bought on to themselves they will only be disappointed.
We know all about that don't we?
Good teams close out games. Great teams close out big games.
Harden is not the big dog and all that comes with it. Lin is playing like a 8mm player.
Its all good cuz Knick are 4-0 right?

Lin was having a pretty good game prior to the airball. His 3pt shooting was terrible before that attempt. He made a couple on the corners but anything on the top had no chance of going in. Take out his 3pt shooting from the top and he had a pretty good game. He had a lot of hockey assists and should have had more if Rockets did not miss bunnies in the 1st quarter. His rebounding was not his usual self but his defense was very good. He had a couple of deflections that led to steals and his block shots was impressive.
3 Reasons why they lost last night. 1. LeDouche. Hate the guy but he was legendary last night. He had 6 pts in the frist half and ended up with 38 for the game. 2. Heat getting all the calls from the refs. 2 possessions late in the game was crucial. 1 was the foul call on the Bosh dunk attempt where he was hacked by the air and called foul on Harden/Lin. The 2nd one was the lose ball foul on Morris when both LeDouche and him jumped at same time to get the ball and LeDouche acted like he got stabbed. 3. Coaching. They did not have any set plays late in the game. Team up 8 with a few minutes to go, need to get a better look to the basket than just Harden holding on to the ball then making a move.
Rockets will be very good. They just need better coaching. They have some players in that team.

Lin has been horrible shooting the 3 from the top this season. Anything in the corners, he is money. He is shooting around 95% in FTs so you know he can shoot. BUT...He needs to fix that shot.

He was 95% before last nights game. He missed his 2nd FT for the season last night to bump him down to 90%.

I like their site a lot. I found it after the mcgrady trade and followed Jordan hill's progress. I also really like Netsdaily but I haven't gone there since last June. Netsdaily has twitter links for most of the ny beat writers.

Fratello color man on the YES broadcast of Nets-Cleveland. First Net game I have caught him. Much better than the Homers they had in his absence. Dude does a good job. "The Czar"!
Bobcats going for 3rd win. Feel sorry for the Wiz. No wins yet. Eddie Murray at Barclays. Class act and great player for Baltimore!
Glad the Knicks-Nets got postponed. Knicks have their identity early and Brooklyn starting to find theirs. Will make for a better game.

I saw some of the game and he was quite active! Cleveland is very young around him and Kyrie is a hell of a player.
Nets are beating scrubs, but so have we. Mavs are not doing well, we got Philly flat, and Miami was grumpy. We are doing it with good spreads and Im not discounting what we are doing, but I think our veteran squad has benefited by getting off to a good start where some teams with younger players and roster changes need more time to find their identity and rhythm. Our vets fit good and are doing it quickly.
