The way Kobe played last night is how superstars are supposed to play when they create so much attention. He had 14 assist making everyone around him better with 14 pts and 9 rebs.

He put the pressure on his teammates by giving them easy or uncontested shots

Nalod @ 1/26/2013 10:37 AM
Lakers went all in to try to extend the run they had instead of rebuilding or rebooting. Sometimes you have to pay the piper for a year or two.

Knick fans are expert in the way of the starphuch.

Now they play the "Blame game" and MDA is at the top of the list. His mistake was taking the gig.

McHale has harden doing too much. Maybe its Harden wanting to finally be the man and having to learn that he can, but also must trust his mates on the court as well. Its a process.

You remind of the Vagisil Character from South Park, no matter what the issue, always at the ready to rub it in his wife's face that her Vag was not to his liking.

I its all just a matter of perspective and what you take from it.

We all have our prism from which we view from.

Yours is from southpark characters? Its speaks for itself.

What kind of geriatric try's to belittle South Park, 30 minutes of their satire is worth more than a Day of MSNBC's Government Funded Sensationalism.

Come man, get with the times.

Defending watching SouthPark to another adult? Thats not necessary.

Seriously, you going with "Geriatric" here?

3G4G @ 1/26/2013 2:51 PM
Kobe 10fga against the Jazz the Lakers win. Because if Kobe isn't chucking up 20+ shots then that means he has a chance to impact the game some other way. Oh and he did, he got 14ast last night.....Funny how that works.

The last time the Lakers won he got 6ast and he only shot 19fga....and the game before that 6ast and 14fga....

Where else is there to go???

There is nothing to defend about South Park, they are the best in the business at characterizing celebrity Characters. And it's all entertainment when you get down to it.

I think that man who's try's to justify his displeasure in a part of his wife by belittling her every chance he gets, fits a trait I see out of you around the knicks, like a glove.

Sorry, your lumping. Im very happy with the team now. The past is well documented for it failures and starphuching bullshyt.

Knick fans should be able to smell this crap by now. Thats my point.

If you think thats belittling the team then your a bit hypersensitive.

As long as the product on the floor is good and they are fun to watch Im good. Im the guy that can enjoy a good game win or lose.

I the guy that openly admits to not liking melo but from day one said he can earn my respect and this season he has proven worthy of my praise.

Mooby is well explained elsewhere.

Don't lump.

THE THing with kobe is that he is truly talented.. just hardheaded and stubborn.. he is capable of doing a lot of things...he just has to want to do them.. others who just like to chuck, are really just not capable of much else, no matter how hard they try..... it takes poise to be great, some also lack that as well..

Very true. Kobe is stubborn. He has the physical tools and playmaking ability to put up 14 assists but he is too worried about winning the scoring title and catching Jordan. He can needs to realize with this team he can catch Jordan in rings and maybe surpass him. If he ever does watch out!

tkf @ 1/26/2013 8:13 PM
nets vs rockets yes!!
RonRon @ 1/26/2013 9:55 PM
Yep, hopefully Harden/Lin/Parsons and the Rockets keeping the Net's one more game away from us with their current 10point lead in the 4th

and

Washington/John Wall for beating Chicago as well

This battle with the top 5 teams in the East is awfully tight

Heat
Knicks
Bulls
Nets
Pacers *with Granger coming back soon*

Atlanta and Bucks not far behind
Philly if Bynum ever comes back healthy would be dangerous as well
Boston although is struggling this year, Pierce just always seems to perform very well versus us

yellowboy90 @ 1/26/2013 10:04 PM
The wizards are playing like a Juggernaut lately
gunsnewing @ 1/27/2013 12:13 AM
Indy also lost to Jazz. Shame Knicks didn't show up

seems like the rockets are happy with their investment...

http://www.nypost.com/p/sports/nets/mchale_houston_ozDTHFydgqt6UcLZCiR45I

But halfway through his first season with the Rockets, Kevin McHale is happy with the progress his point guard has made.

“In anybody’s career, you spend time playing on the ceiling and playing on the floor, where in reality where you’re at is somewhere in between there,” the Rockets coach said of Lin, who had 14 points, nine assists and five rebounds in last night’s 119-106 win over the Nets. “You saw somebody playing on the ceiling, and that’s not realistic. I think sometimes that follows him a little bit too much. ... I think he’s doing a good job for a young guy.

“He’s been doing great.”

It's pretty safe to say, that lin had that break out 3 weeks because of a lack of scouting reports. he's still a solid player
