Unlike some people who only talk about doing whatever it takes to win, Kobe seems to be actually doing it. There's no excuse for them not playing this way earlier, but you can see what that team can do. But this will only last for a few games, then D12 will start whining and moping again about his "touches"

Gasol is slow, but probably the best passing big man out there.
His brother gives him close competition in that category
I hate Kobe but he has played incredibly the last 2 games.
The putz can do this whenever he wants but he had to come to terms that points are not that important.

I think Noah is much better than both brothers and he is basically a younger version of Tyson Chandler with much more skills/athleticism/speed/quicknes and a VERY HIGH MOTOR/WORK ETHIC
In fact, I would say Noah is the best all round center this year, in the entire league, it sucks because he was chosen with our drat pick along with Aldridge for Eddy Curry
Most importantly, he is a TEAM player and is drama free

Noah was one of my favorite college players and probably my favorite player in the NBA. Extremely smart!

I never imagined Noah would become a TOP tier center in the entire league, I saw him closer to a role player like Joel Prizbilla
Never thought he would be able to translate his game at the NBA level
The hustle/big body/relentless not very talented type, but boy was I wrong
He has improved so much since his Gator days along with David Lee

Really? He was crazy good in college and a lock down defender and rebounder.
but NBA and college is completely different levels of competition, not to mention zone DEFENSE
Noah not only got bigger/stronger to fill up his body, but he also got more athletic/agility/quickness/speed which is very surprising since he bulked up much and improved it vs just maintaining those physical qualities
In addition, he gained much more BB skills, improved his all areas of his game from shooting/posting up/dribble/passing
Did you really think Noah was going to be even nearly as successful as he is right now when he was a Gator?

So although Dolan would never allow it to happen, judging from our recent picks alone, it is possible to rebuild through the draft alone in NY, without multiple top 3 picks like OKC did....

Pau is still skilled and a very good Center, problem is he no longer is a PF with his age, and change in the natural PF position itself in the league
I think it is best for the team to have Dwight and Pau alternate the position at C
Lets not forget even when Pau was younger with Phil Jackson, Bynum and Pau did not play together much
Odom played the point/forward at PF with Pau usually to finish off games
A lot of it was also because Bynum kept getting injured too but even when he was healthy they rarely finished games out together
More efficient and effective to have them both play at a high level of energy on both ends rather than forcing the issue with size vs speed
Not sure if Dwight would be happy though when FA hits, but if he is getting MAX anyway, i don't understand why he should care as long as they are winning
keeping both at about 30m a game, limited minutes together, and prolonging their career's

They're in a bad position. They're probably going to have to play .650 ball the rest of the season just to make the playoffs. That means getting the 8th seed and having a VERY tough first round match-up that they'll likely lose. To get a favorable first round match-up, they're probably going to have to play well above .700 (maybe closer to .800) ball the rest of the way. This from a .400 team right now.

I am a UF fan so I have followed him closely and he always had this in him. He just needed to get stronger. I am just glad he didn't get down on himself and go the Tyson Chandler route(no offense to Tyson) and not work on his offensive game outside of outbacks and lobs. I still remember him leading the breaks at UF regularly. He probably has the best handle at the center position.
The better Noah, Horford, and Brewer become the better that UF team will look in history. By the way this year UF team is not bad with a 25+ scoring diff.

I did but I put credit in the UF coaching. They are very good at coaching bigs. I sometimes think they pigeon hole players and restrict them but they do a good job of coaching players. Also Horford and Noah kind of help each other then through in a Cliff Richard who had a cup of tea in the league and Speights you get some well rounded players because practice is so good.
Also, now that Garnett has aged and he is really a 4 but I do not think there is another big on his level defensively when it comes to help D and being able to legitimately guard every position on the court. Well at least passable defense on guards, wings, and big.
