Also, have you ever seen a good coach do this to one of his players? Popovich was extremely hard on Tony Parker. This was well documented, but in interviews he will never rip Parker. He always took the blame.

I actually don't hate Lin.
Some conveniently forget I didn't like Westbrook or Harden when they were drafted. Neither looked that good to me in college. Harden was fat and Westbrook reminded me of Fred Jones.
I know you don't hate Lin. I remember your views on Westbrook. I actually agreed on you about Westbrook. I still don't like the way he plays. He is like a taller and faster Stevie Franchise.

Intentionally done to get you to understand it's childish of you to come in this thread after every time you see things supposedly not going Lin's way.
McHale wants Lin to earn it and want it, no sense of entitlement like we see here with some players on our team. Lin's not having too bad a season under McHale.....this is coming from a coach who lost pretty much the most precious thing in his life, in season. I think sometimes fans lose total perspective of this fact. Mchale doesn't appear to play favorites and hopefully Lin continues to grow from such experiences this year.

Yeah. McHale is getting blasted in Houston right now for that one. Lin actually shot .545 in that game and only had 3 TOs to go with 8 assists and 6 rebounds. McHale throws Lin under the bus anytime he gets a chance. Never seen a head coach single out a player as much as McHale does with Lin this year.
Pops with Tony Parker. You never know what the team is supposed to run and what McHale expects versus what the PG is doing, in spite of points and TOs and assists.

Watching the Nugs is almost depressing. They've just made so many smart decisions over the past couple years. Their depth is ridiculous. Gallo was out and Chandler has a terrific game tonight. Two ex-Knicks that I loved. :/ I do wonder if they could be the exception to the rule, that you need a superstar to win a 'chip. Maybe if you load up on enough young talent at every position, you don't necessarily need one?
