Kobe is due his respect, he is just a tremendous player...I never really warmed up to Kobe because I thought he was trying to do the Jordan 2.0 thing...To me, he really didn't have his own identity...He practiced every shot Jordan took, and mimicked his game after Jordan..That said, boy did he come close to the great one...Jordan to me, is in a class by himself...I also put Magic ahead of Kobe as a Laker great...Dude can still ball tho at this age...Let's see what he has left in the tank after 82 games as the Knicks push the Heat in the playoffs...

And the Gap is still considerable at length IMHO.

I also feel at this late stage in their career Duncan's greatness rivals Kobe's in the same era. Go look at what Duncan is still doing. Did anyone see him the other day 1 man fast break against the Clippers and score?

No Timetable For Steve Nash's Return

LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Lakers got their coach back on the sidelines Tuesday against the Brooklyn Nets. But it will be a while before Mike D'Antoni has two of the Lakers' veteran point guards available to run his offense.

The point guard everyone continues to wonder about is Steve Nash, who hasn't played since suffering a fractured fibula in his left leg on Oct. 31. There still is no determined date for the 16-year veteran's return.

More on the Lakers

"The other Steve is coming along," D'Antoni said of the two-time league MVP. "I don't think we have a timetable. He feels some nerve endings that are tingling and when they go away, we'll start ramping it up and he'll be fine.

"Whether it's tomorrow or next week or next month, we'll just take our time and he'll eventually be there. As soon as he gets there, I know, give him an hour and a half and he'll have the offense down and running it like a clock. So we can wait on that."

Nash declined to speak to reporters in the locker room before Tuesday's game against the Nets, saying he had to return to the training room to receive treatment. He is scheduled to be reevaluated by Lakers doctors on Friday.

Steve Blake, who missed the Lakers' last three games with a strained abdomen, was out against Brooklyn and will not play during the upcoming three-game road trip either.

"I would like to see him practice before he plays," D'Antoni said. "We had four games in five nights and then we don't practice on Thanksgiving, so I would rule him out for the next four games and then after that, it should be day to day hopefully, and that will get him going."

Second year guard Darius Morris received his fourth straight start at point guard Tuesday with Chris Duhon, who played previously for D'Antoni in New York, serving as the backup.

The Lakers' road trip begins Wednesday in Sacramento and continues Friday in Memphis and Saturday in Dallas.

Celtics go down again..Knicks can get more space. Celtics don't look strong at all. Jason Terry is no Ray Allen.

The OKC/Clipper game was incredible tonight, so exiciting as there were plenty close games tonight..

K-Mart did it again....

6-10fg 3-5fg 5-5ft 20pts.....

Which makes him for the yr 50% 55% 95% what a beast and he's getting it done with an incredible chucker on his team while only taking 10FGA/gm

DAT TS%

He's proving with every game when healthy he was the one guy I desperately wanted us to trade for. OKC is 9-3 and in a groove

I still don't understand his shooting motion. It defies physics. It's like he dislocates his wrist and then pops it back on release.

OKC and the clippers are fun to watch..

kevin martin is who we thought he was 3g..... haha( in my dennis green voice)

gunsnewing @ 11/21/2012 11:24 PM
you can add me to that list. I thought OKC did a hell of a job with that Harden trade. Now and for the future instead of overpaying a 6th man

For the record K-Mart is averaging more pts off the bench this year than Harden did last year for OKC. I know it's early but just sayin

it was a great trade for both teams.. the rockets have a potential stud on their hands.. actually he is pretty much a stud now..

gunsnewing @ 11/21/2012 11:28 PM
yep absolutely. He is worth a big contract on Houston
FoeDiddy @ 11/22/2012 12:31 AM

Harden did more than just score , he played defense and also ran the offense when Westbrick was out of control
