You would of thought the Sixers would have checked out his knees before they traded for him- I'm amazed how many teams (including us!) just completely ignore medical facts. Brandon Roy is the best example- Blazers ignored the fact his knees were degenerating and signed him to a max contract, then he retires and then the Twolves ignore the fact his knees have degenerated and sign him to a two year contract.

What are the bets that Bynum gets a max offer in the offseason even if he doesn't play for the rest of this season?

Hmm, wonder if that german blood knee treatment thing that's all the rage these days is responsible or those lubrication injections he had in both knees- seems odd the cartilage in both knees weakened right after he had those two sets of injections. Or maybe those injections were done because his knees were already starting to fail. Who knows.

Isn't part of it because of the bowling incident which happened after the trade? Bynum still has enough of a history to make them think twice about giving away Iggy for a short term deal. If Bynum can get back and play like he used to this will be a dangerous team.

The bowling thing is a bit of a red herring. You don't get a bone bruise in your knee from bowling unless there are serious structural issues there already.

Just watched an interview with the Sixers GM and he clarified things a bit- said that they knew there was a risk when they saw his medical report just before the trade, but that since then things have gotten a lot worse and the MRI's now look 'different' than they did then.

They do.

I fear that we will get absolutely crushed on the boards!

Nets are good. Tomorrow should be a great game.

They've played pretty decent since the slow start. Only 2gms back of OKC in their Division.

By far one of the most brutal schedules in all of basketball. Like 20 of their first 30gms are on the road.

It's not a black and white science. I'm sure even beforehand, they knew an MRI would show lots of worn out cartilage. That could mean anything from him being done to having 5 or more years left (like Kobe).

OKC 114, Cats 69.

Couldn't have happened to a better owner.

Also, the Wiz are now 0-12.

Bucks came back from 26 down to beat the Bulls.

OKC is on a mission.. bobcats are a much improved team....this should not happen on this level, but it does.. knicks fans should know...

the wiz need to be relegated to the NBDL...

Im starting to feel sorry for them. Its a clusterphuch of everything that can go wrong.

On paper they are respectable. Its getting them healthy and chemistry.

Lenois and Grunfeld have been on the same page. I say that because if your the owner you fire the GM but if your the owner and you want a young team and your GM is telling you its not a good idea with the players they have or can get, then you can't fire him.

This season its too early to tell with Nene and John wall out. Nene is just getting back.

Cats have been much better this year and I agree losing by 44 pts should not happen in the NBA.

If the Clippers don't click, can you shyt can Del Negro and bring in PHil Jax? Can the triangle work with that roster? Owner is a piece of trash and Phils price is gonna be high but is it worth it? What about giving phil some smallish equity stake and let him coach for two years then move to front office? Can you do that and still bed down with Jeannie Buss? I doubt Phil does the Clips but its gotta be discussed at some level.

I forgot about that. That was Isiah's last year I believe. On paper we had a good roster then. Marbles had his juice card full!

At least we could see the spit in his mouth and he gave us some memorable moments then!
