Curry with 34 pts.

And 8 assists.

Iverson as a pure shooter and much better passer. And without the chip on his shoulder. Steph Curry just seems so fun-loving. He makes it fun to watch he & the Warriors.

This Bulls squad is old school and so freaking rootable. I have hated this team more than any other sports team - it is a team that caused me nothing but basketball misery growing up. But I can't help but root for them now. Just out of pure love of basketball and of how the game should be played.

This is the true principle of being a FAN IMHO. I want the Bulls to beat the Heat because I don't want Lebron to win another chip ever again but I don't root for the Bulls in general. The way they play though represents everything a fan should want to see in a team and why they watch basketball. It really should have little to do with where you were born or raised although if it happens to parallel it fine.

This Bulls team seems to combine all of the positives of those old 90s Knicks and Pacer squads. All of their toughness, guts, and heart. Amalgamated. I want to see them succeed b/c I want unselfishness, team chemistry, and supreme hard work to win out. I want a guy like Joakim Noah who truly gives his heart and soul to the game despite injury to win. I want heart to win out over talent.

Those damn Spurs.
NumberTwoPencil @ 5/7/2013 12:26 AM
OT, damn. GS needs to work on their end of game strategy. They had this game in the bag but with Thompson out OT is iffy.

...Iverson as a pure shooter and much better passer...

I dunno. Iverson was pretty good and his chip was fairly light when he was a kid. However, yes, even if Iverson was underrated as a passer, Curry is still better overall right now.

I can't remember . . . did Iverson play any D when he made that run in the playoffs his rookie or 2nd year?
NumberTwoPencil @ 5/7/2013 12:32 AM
Curry just stole the ball and when the length of the court for a sick layup.

Me neither. I just remember him blowing past folks with that full head of steam.

Can you imagine a player combining Iverson's speed and athleticism with a pure jump shot? And excellent passing? He'd be a video game point guard.

Best game of the playoffs so far...
AnubisADL @ 5/7/2013 12:53 AM
Curry is a streaky shooter.
NumberTwoPencil @ 5/7/2013 12:55 AM
Streaky but still good.
NumberTwoPencil @ 5/7/2013 12:55 AM
44 pts streaky.
NumberTwoPencil @ 5/7/2013 12:56 AM
Plus the assist. Warriors by 1, 4 seconds left.
NumberTwoPencil @ 5/7/2013 12:56 AM
Best game of the playoffs x2.

AnubisADL @ 5/7/2013 1:07 AM
