Rudy Gay would have been helpful since Prince is useless.

They miss Gay this series. They got lucky and didn't play complete teams in the first two rounds because of injuries.

Memphis getting exposed now. They are heavily reliant on front court scoring.
AnubisADL @ 5/25/2013 11:53 PM
You need closers to win.
CrushAlot @ 5/25/2013 11:54 PM
Spurs may win it all this year.

Home team plays tight when opposing team comes to play 48 minutes

Difference is Duncan lost weight on purpose to get better, Tyson lost weight against his will because he was sick.

He shot 3 of 8 from the line on the road in this series. Was that an example of the road team playing tight because the Spurs remembered that it was a 48 minute game?

If the the Knicks in game 1 vs Pacers And the Spurs vs Grizzlies in game 2 didn't show you(Almost blew 15 pt lead and lost game), then nothing will well maybe tonight in Indy will. SMH

you guys value the wrong types of players. they don't miss gay at all. what they miss is free throws.

and it's tough to beat the trio of duncan parker ginobili if you are not an uptempo team.

Memphis is playing 3 on 5 offensively. That's why they can't win. They don't miss Gay, bit Tony Allen and Prince are useless on offense. They have reliable inside scoring, but it's still hard to win when you don't surround it with guys who can make open shots.

They miss Gay because Prince has been useless. They are playing a complete team this round and they miss Gay's offense.

Or maybe the lose to the Clipps and don't even get this far because they couldn't shut down the LA CLIPPERS with Tayshaun Prince and Tony Allen

I think I understand your reasoning. Every time a team loses at home, it's because they were "tight." "Tight" is basically synonymous with "Lost at home"

So how do you supose they get these "scorers" at SF and SG?

They miss Gay because they aren't getting any upgrades to any of those spots.

Memphis needs to feed their bigs instead of letting Conley think he's Westbrook out there.

he should not be shooting more than his bigs.

No Bonn it means "watch the games" and see how the home team plays down the stretch in the 4th qtr when the visiting team is bringing it to them for 48 Minutes not 24 or 36 minutes. Visiting team is loose , they aren't supposed to win. Basic knowledge that must be explained. Rolling my eyes SMH
