Miami. Will never root for the Nets
Deron would be scary good if he actually cared enough to get into shape
GO NETS! I hate the Heat!

while I get the rivalry, the Heat are a bigger threat, and I honestly believe already that the Knicks will have a better record than the Nets, however if at all possible (doesn't seem possible, but still) I'd love it if the Knicks could have a better record than the Heat (homecourt).
Plus I just can't see myself ever rooting for Lebron regardless of how insanely good he is.
Well I'm from NJ so my hate for the Nets and their fans is deeply rooted. I don't expect to finish ahead of the Heat but I do expect to finish ahead of the nyets.

exactly, that's why any loss by Miami is more important if we want to have any chance of besting their record, however unlikely it may seem, and it does.

Agreed.
Just turned the game on - I don't know why...I'm going to be annoyed with whoever wins. I've begrudgingly accepted Miami is a powerhouse, but I still don't buy into the Nets. I can enjoy a Brooklyn freefall back to earth. Here's hoping for some hard fouls - maybe things escalate and we get some suspensions.
K-Mart is back on his TS%......
Nyets are good, don't feel bad coming up short against them in their house without Kidd, Stat off the bench and Shumps.
And maybe the Heat aren't as impervious as people claim them to be.
Heat right back in this game. NJ has looked really good but the Heat tied at home in the 3rd doesn't bode well for the nets.
73-73 3mins left in the 3rd
the heat/nets are both good BUT they dont have much depth. The Knicks have much more depth especially when stat/shump/kidd are back
Nets are one of the deepest teams in the league. Batche, evans, watson, stack and brooks
Other divisional games to keep your eye on: Boston leads Milwaukee 48-47 at the half; Philadelphia up 62-59 over Chicago in the 3rd. Both Boston and Philly played last night.

Don't forget Teletovic and Bogans. If that's not depth i dont know what is.
Knicks in first in the Atlantic.
Hopefully we can beat Miami on Thursday. Can't let them go on these 3rd quarter runs at home

we match up well with miami. our depth and defense hurts them just like the first game
nice rockets win.. lin with a huge game and clutch baskets late 19/8 for lin.. asik again was huge as well... rockets with 7 players scoring 13 points or more... wow..

I watched the Nets game but checked in on the boxscore on yahoo as the game went on. Rockets at .500 is huge. Pre-Harden trade I thought they would have a top 7 pick in next years draft. Asik has been beasting for them. Looks like CAvs are going to beat the blazers.

yeah that's big. it's how the championship knicks did it.
i am wondering if the nuggets will find a way to that balance. they seem to be having a hard time gelling. early but lawson should try to work his pick and roll game. i bet he is pretty good at shooting off the dribble from midrange. i am still puzzled and a bit disappointed that gallinari can't hit the 3 more consistently. then again that full-court romp against LA was impressive. he could use more of that sort of aggression in his game. i wish chandler could get healthy. that would make them a super deep team.
