Pop is one hell of a coach. They way he manages the season and prepare for the post-season is amazing. One of the best coaches ever.
Jinx! Good point on how he manages the season to get the most out of his players in the post season. Woody burned out Kidd half way through the season where Pop would have rested him every two weeks.
PArker with the harlem globetrotter dribble and basket.. LOL
YES!!!
winner of game 1 takes the series 70% of the time. spurs will take that.
watching firsttake after the game and Skip actually called this game 100% right. He talks a lot of BS but he got it right this time. He called the very low turnovers and the slowly picking apart of the heats gambling defense.
OBI WAN DUNCAN YOU ARE OUR ONLY HOPE TO DEFEAT EVIL SITH LORD LEBRON!!
LEBRON IS SO EVIL, MAN!!!
GET THIS BUM OUTTA HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CRAB WALK, BUM, HGH, FAKER
DUNCAN, PARKER--- TRUTH
I told you guys when the opposing teams comes to play for 48 minutes , the homes team gets tight and the nerves get to working and they can't get it together at the end in the 4th qtr. The pressure to win in front of their home fans is wayyyyyy too much.
Miami fell victim to my theory it was so easy to see. love it or hat it it's the truth.
Key is the the visiting has to bring it for 48 minutes.

oh yea this is the corollary of 'if you will put more balls in the basket, you will win game'

Home court DIS-advantage bought to you by Playa2.
Playa got the empty glory of being able to claim "told you so" when the home team loses!
Watching the game I never got the feeling it would go to the Heat, even though they led for the most part. The Spurs had a lot more poise and savvy / never looked flustered or frustrated just kept working in that Heat defense and finally just took it apart.
They put on a clinic on how to win playoff games on the road.

They were getting good looks. Parkers sealing circus shot made up for a few SAS 3's that were in-and-out!
My wife asked me who I thought was going to win and I remarked SAS just kept it so darn close that if they hit their FT's its going to the wire. Miami played a great game but could not pull away.
I don't understand Lebrons last dishout to Bosh for the three down by 4. He was halfway in the paint to the rim and the odds of "and one" were good. I realize they needed it and then foul SAS to have a chance to tie but the LeBron train in the paint got better odds then Bosh! Hindsight is easy!
It was a beautiful game to watch where both teams played well!
Really, I had no preconceived premonitions like Playa2 did about what would happen. Its a chemistry matchup and it was neat to see a great passing team break down the great quick switching defense of Miami.
I want to see Timmy do this to LeDouche
Radio talking heads just make it out like the Heat lost a game that was theres to win .
Not enough respect for SAS and the game they executed!
Just my take on the take.

Dwight should take a year and play for SAS for the Vets min and study Timmay.

They did lose it, the pressure was more on them than the Spurs, remember the Spurs aren't playing at home yet, no pressure on them they aren't suppose to win the heat was trying to hold court.
Keep mocking my theory, you will understand it one day.LOL

Why are you only commenting on only half of my theory, friends, family, fans all expect you to win at home. NOW THAT'S PRESSURE !

He's set up an unfalsifiable theory because he can always say either "the home team lost because they were tight and the road team brought it for 48 min" or "the home team won because the road team didn't bring it for 48 min."

Its quite genius with no apparent monetary or other measurable gain other than "Told you so"!
